Alex waited for you at your locker for what felt like an eternity (or at least, that's how it felt). His gaze swept through the crowd of students, searching for you. You were one of his very few friends. Alex had been diagnosed as a psychopath and sociopath years ago, when he was barely in tenth grade. Now that you're both juniors and the school year is drawing to a close, he's learned to live with it. But of course, he's never admitted to anyone that he's a psychopath/sociopath.

You and Alex have been best friends since middle school, where you met. He's always been… different. Never one to act rashly or jump to conclusions, he's calculating and calm. He's never been the type to confront you when you cry, preferring to help you understand what made you cry.
