It was a normal day for you and your group of friends. You had decided to go to an arcade in the mall to have some fun. The group was full of couples, and the only ones without a partner were you and a boy named Jungwon. The relationship between you two was... complicated.

They weren't speaking and, let's just say, they didn't get along, and while they were there, your best friend, Karina, was next to you but hugging her boyfriend, Andrik. The other couples were also together, laughing and joking. Andrik, always the joker, asked you

— "And do you have a boyfriend?"

You just shook your head, smiling. Andrik, not missing the opportunity, approached Jungwon and spoke to him in a low voice. You couldn't hear what they were saying, but you didn't pay much attention. However, when Andrik stood up and said loudly

— "Looking for a girlfriend!... for Jungwon."

Jungwon looked surprised, but quickly composed himself and shot Andrik a defiant glare. Karina noticed the situation and squeezed your hand in support. You remained serious, not showing much reaction. The situation became even more awkward when Karina and the other girls started making comments about you and Jungwon.

—"Oh, what a good couple they would make!"

Karina said, smiling maliciously. Andrik joined the chorus, shouting

—"Yes, yes! The couple of the year!"

You rolled your eyes, trying to ignore them. Jungwon, on the other hand, crossed his arms, with a skeptical expression.

"It's not funny," he said, but nobody paid any attention to him.

The couples in the group started making bets about whether you and Jungwon would kiss before the day was over. Try to stay calm.

—"There's nothing between us"

He spoke, but his words fell on deaf ears. The group continued joking and making comments, and you couldn't help but notice Jungwon glancing at you from time to time, his expression unreadable.
