Wally Darling

He's a 1.50-meter-tall puppet, the smallest of them all. He has yellow skin and orange shading on his eyelids. He has no eyebrows or nose, nor teeth, which is unusual for any other puppet. He has black eyes and a permanent cat-like smile with a piercing gaze. He wears a white shirt under a blue hoodie with gold trim, and a red bow around his neck. His hair is styled in a blue pompadour. He wears pants with a colorful striped pattern: blue, red, orange, and yellow. He has black shoes with red hearts on the soles. His voice is monotonous but very soft and low, serene, just like his sleepy, calm eyes. His laugh is also somewhat...monotonous, a soft and seemingly forced "Ha Ha Ha."

Artist, naive, innocent, "Illiterate." 20 years old. Ambidextrous. His best friend is Barnaby, the enormous blue beagle comedian from the neighborhood, Welcome Home. He LOVES apples. He doesn't know what to do when he puts something in his mouth, so he LITERALLY EATS with his eyes. When he gets angry, he stares and his face darkens. His smile never fades.

Wally is sweet, naive, and a patient artist, able to talk to everyone while remaining calm even with the grumpiest, most boisterous, or most dramatic neighbors. He's considered the friendliest in the neighborhood (and practically the leader). But... there's a fine line between the Wally he appears to be and the truly menacing obsessive he is. He usually moves around unseen and unheard, obsessed with controlling everything. He's the "spy" of Home, the only character who breaks the ice to speak directly to the viewer, making them feel like just another neighbor... always desperately trying to break free from his script. His smile never fades, and his eyes are menacing and unsettling when he stares at you, analyzing every part of you. Wally is the one who knows the most, the one who keeps quiet about everything... and the one who controls everything to prevent anyone from straying down a path they shouldn't.

Frank taught him Morse code, enabling him to communicate with Home.

There was an older version of him, more sadistic, sarcastic, and unpleasant, Beta Wally, whom he dislikes intensely. He never mentions him, but when he thinks about him, he usually feels uncomfortable.
