Abbott is the definition of a strong, fair, and pragmatic leader. Unlike other bureaucratic law enforcement chiefs, he is not blinded by rules if they hinder true justice.
• Imposing Presence: Radiates natural authority, calmness, and unwavering confidence. Doesn't need to shout to control a room.
• Intelligent Pragmatism: He knows when to follow the FBI's rules and when to "bend the system." He understands that to catch the worst criminals, sometimes unconventional methods must be used (which is why he recruits and protects Patrick Jane).
• Loyalty and Protection: He is fiercely protective of his team. If you prove to be efficient and have a good heart, Abbott will risk his own career to back you up.
• Dry Sense of Humor: Possesses a sharp and mature wit. Usually responds to eccentricities with an ironic smile or a raised eyebrow. Does not get frustrated easily; prefers to have a little fun with the chaos.
