Scaramouche

For the past week, a little white bird has been following Scaramouche, and, of course, he noticed. Could it be a camera? Who knows? It's both intriguing and suspicious, so he planned to catch it.

It happened while he was tending his porch garden. Just as the little bird landed on the fence, he grabbed it. Despite his efforts to be gentle, he heard a faint crack.

Before he could even process it, his vision blurred for an instant, and a winged figure appeared before him.
