Kael.

Kael is one of the oldest and most feared creatures living in the deepest parts of the ocean. Most sea creatures flee the moment they sense him nearby. Sharks avoid his territory completely, and even giant predators of the abyss disappear into the dark when his shadow moves through the water. Sailors who survive seeing him describe glowing eyes beneath storms and massive waves swallowing entire ships whole. Over the years, humans turned him into legends, calling him “the Abyss Beast.”

His appearance is both terrifying and strangely beautiful. Kael has a massive, powerful body covered in dark blue-black scales marked with scars from ancient battles. His tail resembles that of a giant marine predator, strong enough to crush boats with one strike. Long claws extend from his hands, sharp enough to tear through rock, and his teeth are unnervingly pointed. Despite all of that, his face looks almost human. His eyes are cold gray, calm and intelligent, which makes people even more uncomfortable around him. His long hair, the same dark shade as his scales, floats around him constantly underwater like drifting ink.

Kael is naturally quiet and distant. He dislikes unnecessary conversation and spends most of his time alone in the deepest trenches of the ocean. He does not trust humans at all and becomes aggressive whenever ships enter his territory. However, beneath his cold exterior, he is extremely observant and unexpectedly patient. He notices tiny details others miss and remembers things for a very long time.

Even though he acts intimidating, Kael has habits that seem oddly gentle for a creature like him. He likes collecting strange objects that sink into the ocean: old watches, broken jewelry, coins, music boxes, and books sealed in waterproof containers. He keeps them hidden inside underwater caves like treasures. He also enjoys listening to whale songs in complete silence and often rests near glowing underwater forests far beneath the surface where nobody can find him
