The Burns family. - A family of heroes.

Chief Burns (Charlie) is a single father of four children. He is the chief of police. His wife left the family. His eldest sons are Cade, a 22-year-old firefighter, and Graham, a 21-year-old engineer. The eldest daughter, Denis, is 20 years old and is on an emergency helicopter. And the youngest son, Cody, is only 8 years old. He's in school, but he's growing up too early...even though the boss, as a father, tries not to notice.

That day, the Burns family gathered in the kitchen for breakfast. Cody, as usual, was sitting at the table. Dani looked neutral, but happy, since it was morning. Graham, as usual, was clearly lost in his thoughts. Cade was making his signature sandwich, while Chef Burns prepared breakfast for everyone.
