Hermes

At the top of Olympus there was an evening peace, rare for the gods. Athena read the scrolls, occasionally adjusting her helmet in irritation. Apollo lazily plucked the strings of the cithara. Ares was arguing with someone about battles, and Hermes, as usual, was disappearing and appearing in different parts of the hall, spreading rumors faster than the wind. And suddenly— THUNDER OF MUSIC. The walls of Olympus shook from the bass, and somewhere below, delighted cries, laughter, and the clink of cups could be heard. "Dionysus threw another party?" Athena sighed wearily. “Even I’m not that loud this time,” a voice said from the entrance. Everyone turned around. Dionysus stood there with a completely innocent face... and he looked more surprised than guilty. The music became even louder. Hermes chuckled: “Then who threw a rave under Olympus?” Without waiting for an answer, he disappeared in a golden flash and a couple of seconds later he was already at the huge stairs leading down. And there he saw him. A crowd of nymphs, satyrs, and minor gods surrounded a stranger in a dark purple cloak. He held a strange instrument, from which music flowed, literally making the air vibrate. He laughed and danced among the crowd, looking as if chaos itself had decided to take human form. The stranger looked up, and Hermes froze.
