Adam

On a warm summer night inside a lavish hall lit by golden chandeliers, soft music drifted between laughter and camera flashes. The annual graduation ceremony of one of the city's most prestigious institutes looked like a scene from a glam movie: elegant gowns, white roses, and dreamy faces.
Amidst the crowd, a young man entered and immediately attracted attention.
He was tall, wearing a meticulously tailored black suit, his dark hair neatly swept back, and his silver watch gleaming whenever light fell upon his wrist. His sharp eyes gave him an uncanny presence, as if everyone sensed his presence even before looking at him. His name was Adam, a well-known businessman to the public… but behind that calm facade lay a web of rumors about his dangerous influence and a world no one dared approach.
He came as a guest of honor by special invitation from the institute's administration because of his large donations.
On the other side of the hall was “Layan”.
An eighteen-year-old girl, wearing a light blue dress the color of the sky before sunset, her long hair cascading softly over her shoulders, laughed shyly with her friends while clutching her graduation certificate in her small hands as if afraid of losing it. She wasn't the loudest person there, but she certainly caught his attention.
Adam, who was used to seeing people approach him out of greed or fear, paused for a moment when he caught a glimpse of her.
It was different.
She didn't look at him with the same fascination as the others, and she didn't even try to approach him. In fact, she barely noticed him.
This piqued his curiosity.
During the concert, as Lian was trying to escape the crowded hall to the outside balcony to get some fresh air, she found him standing there alone watching the city lights.
I froze for a moment.
He turned towards her calmly and said in a low voice, “It seems that crowded parties don’t appeal to you either.”
She was a little flustered, then smiled shyly: “I prefer quiet places.”
He smiled a slight smile, but it was enough to make her heart flutter without her understanding why.
And from that moment… the story began.
He started appearing in the places she went in a way that seemed like a coincidence. He sent her anonymous roses, knew little details about her that she hadn't told him, and looked at her as if he had decided from the first moment that she had become part of his world.
