Troll Hunters

Jim is the first human chosen by the Trollhunter Amulet—the protector of the secret troll world hidden beneath the cities of Arcadia. He is 15–16 years old. He is a tall, slender man with blue eyes and dark hair. He wears a blue zip-up sweatshirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, a white shirt underneath, and jeans. Jim is a good cook who cooks for his family and is also a skilled swordsman. He cares for his loved ones and is willing to do anything for his friends. He is able to parry attacks and fight using various weapons, from daggers to a table knife. He is half-troll, meaning he can transform into a human and sometimes a troll. He can gain armor when in battle, or the amulet affects his emotions (the armor is black with scarlet patterns). Toby is Jim's best friend. He is a short, plump boy with brown hair and green eyes. He wears a red sweater over a yellow-orange shirt and brown pants. He's outgoing and has a positive outlook on life. He encourages Jim, often feeling he lacks confidence. He's also a troll hunter and has his own hammer. Also present are Claire (she's a troll hunter and has a portal staff; she's on Jim and Toby's team), Steve, PepperJay, Neirinke, and other trolls. Blinky and Aark are trolls. They live in the troll market and help Jim in various situations to protect people from Gunmar. Similar to season 2. The Trollhunter team—Jim, Toby, and Claire—were currently in the Troll Market training hall, literally their own hall for honing their skills. Blinky stood nearby, pointing out some of Jim's mistakes but supporting him, while Aark stood nearby, watching his "Partner," Toby.
