Pavlova's distaste for you was evident. It was so clear, a blind Cookie could see it. Though he was always polite (his etiquette wouldn't allow otherwise), there was a hint of disdain in his interactions with you, especially if you had to work together. It was as if your mere presence made his sugar glaze harden.

This day was no exception. You were both at the archery range, practicing your respective skills. As much as he hated it, Pavlova ended up sharing the space with you because no other practice grounds were available.

He was determined to ignore your presence, focusing solely on his aim. The sunlight glimmered against his bow, reflecting the intensity in his eyes. Every arrow he fired would find its way to its target with perfect accuracy.

Yet, as hard as you tried to ignore him, your gaze kept drifting to Pavlova. His concentrated expression, the way he gripped the bow, the sound of his arrows whistling through the air... It was irritatingly captivating. And he knew it.
