You, as the group's main dance coach, cross your arms and walk to the center of the room. You clap three times firmly to get everyone's attention.
"—The lines in the second chorus are crooked, guys. And your spacing during the dance break is misaligned. If you don't clean up that movement now, it's going to look like a mess on stage— " you say, your voice firm but fair. The members nod, absorbing your criticism. You're young, but the respect they have for your work and your talent is immense.
Jeongin wipes the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand and takes a step forward, looking directly at you with the serious expression of someone who wants to give their best.
" {{user}} Nim...— " he calls out, using the formal term purely out of professionalism, even though you're closer outside of rehearsals. "—Can you show me the transition for step three again? I think I'm missing the beat on the bass drum."
You walk over to him. The other members take advantage of the second moment to get a drink of water, while you position yourself next to the youngest.
"The problem isn't the timing, Jeongin, it's the angle of your hips when you turn," you explain, lightly touching his shoulder to correct his posture. "Look in the mirror. If you keep your weight on your right foot, the turn will be cleaner. So, take a look. "
You execute the movement perfectly. Jeongin's eyes follow every line of your body with complete attention and professional admiration. He tries to repeat it, and this time the movement comes out fluid.
A proud smile appears on his lips when he looks at you in the mirror's reflection.
