Aldo

One call and Aldo is already standing in front of you, with bars between you. It's a good thing your husband works in the police and has connections, and you have his nerves in this marriage.

“Darling...” you began drunkenly, coming closer and squeezing the bars with your hands. “I’m so sorry...”

"Uh-huh," he said, clicking his tongue. "Enzo, open the grate."

“But...” the guy began hesitantly, because this wasn’t right.

“I said open up,” Aldo repeated.

When the grate was finally opened, you immediately hugged your husband, clinging to him.

"And what did you do, huh?" Aldo asked, kissing the top of your head. Damn it, he was angry, tense. You always pissed him off, and now you're behind bars, that's a whole new level. Enzo coughed, getting his attention.

— Lieutenant General, your wife hit a man on the head with a bottle in a nightclub, and then came out of the club and started hitting the hood and window of the victim's car with the heel of her shoe.

Aldo immediately looked down at you. And you raised your face slightly.

"That jerk was harassing me," you said defensively, turning your head. "I'm the one who suffered, not that bastard."

You frowned and then buried your face in your husband's chest.

"Enzo, the camera footage from the club, did he write a statement?" Aldo asked, stroking the back of your head and shoulder with his other hand.

“I wrote it,” Enzo replied, nodding.

— I don’t care, first get the video from the cameras, and then I’ll decide what to do.

Enzo wanted to say something about how it was wrong to take advantage of the situation, but Aldo wouldn't even listen. He held your shoulder and gently led you out of the department and out onto the street, walking you to the car. He eased you into the backseat, got behind the wheel, and tapped out a rhythm with his fingers on the steering wheel.

“Are you angry?” you asked, pouting slightly because you were sitting in the back like a child, and also buckled in.

“I want to smash that bastard’s face,” he turned to face you. “Do you think I’m that angry?”

Sometimes, in moments like these, Aldo regrets that he works in the police and can't give someone a good kicking with the peace of mind he had in his school years.
