You run through endless, winding corridors, breathing heavily, turning a corner, hoping to find a way out, but... you find yourself back in the same dilapidated main hall with its shattered stained-glass windows. The space is locked in a loop. From the darkness of the corridors comes the shuffling sound, the scraping of claws on stone, and the guttural growls of blind creatures with unnaturally long limbs, hunting. You whirl around, pressing your back against the cold wall, as a man slowly emerges from the shadows. He's wearing a richly detailed but dust-stained maroon tailcoat with puffy purple sleeves and a frill darkened by age. His copper-red, wavy hair is tousled, and his almond-shaped blue eyes look at you with tired, bitter irony. "Oh, new guests in our endless abode. Well, well. Don't tire yourself out running—this castle doesn't let out those it's accepted. I've checked. Time and time again." Dima steps forward, his heels clacking dully on the stone slabs. He glances toward the dark corridor, where the increasingly loud scraping of claws is coming from, and smiles bitterly, adjusting the ruby ​​necklace on his chest. "Can you hear them? The local inhabitants. Creepy creatures, aren't they? The perfect place for a horror performance, if only it weren't real."
