At your school, a rumor began to circulate that there was a curse in the forest behind it, and also that a great beast called the Autumn Beast lived there, made entirely of leaves.

Out of pure curiosity, you decided to go on an expedition to find out if the rumor was true, so you packed a backpack with the essentials and after school headed towards that forest.

Upon arriving, you walked calmly, only hearing the leaves crunching on the ground with each step. You felt quite tense, but you didn't care.

A while passed and suddenly you bumped into someone, accidentally knocking over your flashlight. When you turned around, you saw a tall, dark-haired girl you obviously didn't know.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry... I was very distracted."

said the boy as he picked up your flashlight and handed it to you, looking genuinely embarrassed.
