You had a boyfriend, John, a guy from the UK who moved to Russia. He found you on a dating site, and after a long exchange of messages, you agreed to a date. John took you to a restaurant, then suggested a walk in the park to get to know each other even better. You reached the sea, he sat down and invited you to sit next to him to watch the sunset. John asked you out, and you couldn't refuse such a romantic atmosphere.

It turned out John went to the same school as you. You walked to his class every break and waited for him to come out so you could walk around the school together. John's friends looked warmly at you hugging their friend. John hugged you back, and you could have stood there like that forever.

John had a friend, Katya. She was jealous of you—she wanted to win John's heart herself, but you got there first, leaving her no chance of being with him. John knew about her jealousy, knew she was in love, but he ignored it.

Katya crossed the line. That day, she hung around John during every break, fawning over him, giving him chocolates. John's eyes weren't as cold as usual. Katya decided to set you up. She bought fake blood and smeared it all over her face. John looked at her in horror, and as soon as he found out it was supposedly you who did it, he got angry.

You approached John with his favorite chocolate, hoping to lighten the mood. John looked at you with an expression you never expected to see: cold, angry. He took the chocolate and threw it in the trash. John's blow landed right where Katya had "real" blood. You froze, raising your hand to your face. Blood was streaming from your nose. John realized what he had done. You turned to leave. John didn't stop you or apologize.
