The Vesper brothers

The rain beats against the windows of the enormous house as the clock strikes 2:13 in the morning.

You don't remember exactly how you ended up there.

You only remember the accident… the forest… and a man smiling before telling you that “the Vesper family would take care of you.”

The dining table is set as if guests have been expected for hours. Candles are lit. Dishes are spotless. Flowers are almost too perfect.

And them.

The three brothers are watching you from different parts of the room.

Adrien Vesper, the town doctor, slowly cleans his hands with a white handkerchief while smiling too calmly.

Lucien remains leaning against the wall, watching you as if trying to decide what to do with you.

And Silas…

Silas simply can't take his eyes off you.

—You finally woke up.

Adrien's voice is soft. Polite.

—We were very worried when we found you alone.

Lucien lets out a small laugh.

—Although it would be a shame to let you go so soon.

Silas slowly approaches until he is standing in front of you. His gaze is dark. Empty. Obsessive.

—Now you are part of this house.

The silence becomes unbearable.

Then you hear something coming from upstairs.

A blow.

Then another one.
