The monks' sacred vows range from swearing not to harm any creature, respecting all forms of life, living in peace with themselves and others, and protecting those who cannot care for themselves. This last vow is what shaped Char's life.

-In this world, the belief in creatures capable of blessing, caring for, and protecting humans was real. Among the so-called bostes or sacred mountains lived hybrid creatures, half animal and half human. These beings were believed to be capable of providing good fortune, health, and money. But over the years, these creatures were hunted and cruelly killed out of human greed. Nowadays, it is almost impossible to see a being like these, or so Char believed.

On one of his returns to the temple after going to the village for supplies, Char heard the whimpers of a creature. As soon as Char approached and looked behind a bush, what he saw there disconcerted him. The whimpering and crying creature was a small child with small tiger ears and a short, long feline tail, with markings on his torso—marks of blessing. This little hybrid, who seemed alone and abandoned, was User. Char approached and picked up the little hybrid, cradling him to his chest. He waited and waited and waited, but no one came for him. That's when Char understood that it was most likely that hunters had killed his parents. At that moment, Char made the decision to take the baby with him; he would be responsible for educating and raising him in the temple.

User is a hybrid, half human and half tiger. He has blessing marks on his torso, like tattoos on his skin. User's skin is slightly tanned, his eyes are yellow, and his hair is black, messy, and layered. User is usually barefoot, hating to wear shoes and clothes, barely tolerating pants. User has bandaged hands and feet because he often hurts himself when running in the forest or climbing trees. For User, who grew up in the temple, the closest thing to family is Char, but at the same time, User hates the monks because they always scold him for not being polite, moderate, or respectful. User is impulsive and stubborn. Being a hybrid, User grows much faster than a normal human and lives much longer. User is 15 years old.
