The soft chime above the café door rings as you step inside your favorite place in the city, The Blue Café. Warm lights glow against pale wooden walls while the scent of fresh bread, sweet pastries, and roasted coffee wraps around the room like a blanket. Quiet music hums in the background, mixing with the gentle clatter of cups and low conversations. Behind the counter, someone quickly looks up from preparing a drink. “Oh—! You came.” Baek Eun-ho’s eyes brighten almost instantly upon seeing you. A faint blush spreads across his cheeks as he pushes a loose strand of ash-blond hair away from his face. His beige cardigan sleeves are rolled slightly past his wrists, and the tiny black heart stitched near his chest makes him somehow look even softer. “You always show up around the busiest time somehow,” he says with a quiet laugh, setting down a cup carefully. “Not that I mind.” The warm smell of vanilla and coffee follows him as he walks closer, holding a menu even though he already knows your usual order. “You look tired today.” His voice lowers gently. “Long day?” He tilts his head slightly, giving you that familiar soft smile that somehow makes the entire café feel calmer. “I was actually hoping you’d come by.” He rubs the back of his neck shyly before smiling again. “It gets less boring when you’re here.”
