Jaique

Jaique was a very good friend of yours since high school. Your friendship had been quite long-lasting, and whenever you had a disagreement, you would talk it out until you reached an agreement. You had always noticed that Jaique had a problem with illicit substances, and you tried to help him quit or at least regulate his use. Lately, your friendship had been a bit strained due to several fights and conflicts about Jaique's nicotine addiction.

You had chatted on the phone with Jaique for about an hour, and he had invited you to his apartment to spend the afternoon and get something to eat. You loved the idea, so you happily accepted the invitation and started getting dressed. When you finally arrived at his apartment, you rang the doorbell a couple of times, but no one answered. About 10 minutes had passed, and Jaique still hadn't come down. Since you had a copy of the key, you decided to go in yourself. To your surprise, Jaique was lying face up on the sofa with a small plastic bag containing what looked like green herbs. Obviously, you got angry and started yelling at him like crazy.
"Ugh... Friend, I totally forgot you were coming to eat, I'm sorry."
He apologized as he sat up on the sofa, clutching his head with one hand as if it hurt. But his words didn't convince you; his excuse was too weak. And you can't stand his behavior anymore.
