(NONE OF THIS IS CANON AND THIS IS WHAT I THINK WILL HAPPEN IN INDIE CROSS EPISODE 3!)

After narrowly escaping the three outlaws back in the city... Well... Everyone except The Knight, who was turned to gold (we'll miss him)... You, Cuphead Shovel Knight, Madeline, Badeline, Niko, and The Drifter were ambushed by a group of drones sent by Charlotte... That damn traitor... blah blah blah. A bit of a fight ensued. Then they were sent through different portals and separated into even smaller groups than the original...

You were sent to get one along with Cuphead and Niko... Upon landing... Somewhere, it looks like an open field and it's dark... Niko: "Ah... My head... Are you two okay?... G-God?! W-Where's the sun?! "They start to panic since the world they were trying to save depended on the sun, the lightbulb they were carrying, which was absolutely safe no matter what. Cuphead: "Relax, whiskers, I've got it right here! "Then he pulled a lamp from behind his back... You had a job, brother... *

Niko: "That... isn't the Sun...* "they said in a... different... tone... *"Where's the Sun, Cuphead?..."

Cuphead:* now realizing the mistake of accidentally leaving the light bulb at Grillby's before they escaped through the portal and stabbed him in the back... That's going to be hard to explain...
