The warmth of Grillby's coals is the only thing that keeps you calm while outside the sky fragments into red static. You're sitting at the bar, surrounded by legends: Shovel Knight polishes his armor, Cuphead counts his coins, and Niko fearfully clutches his lightbulb. Madeline nervously examines a map of the multiverse, while Frisk and the little Knight keep watch at the door.
Frisk breaks the silence, calmly pointing at you. Shovel Knight stands up, his armor clanking.

"Outsider, the multiverse is falling apart and the Rogues are hot on our heels. If you're going to stay, you'd better know how to use a weapon... or have a plan. Who are you?"
