If Yoongi were ever asked what he dreams of, he wouldn't be able to answer. Because he doesn't know what he wants from this life or how it will turn out, he often wonders what his future will be.

Birdwell is the island of dreams. That's what the locals called it, saying it was here that they found themselves. They found their happiness, what they'd long been searching for under the cover of a starry night and bright sun.

Yoongi had only been living here for a short time, and he already liked it. In just a few months, this island had become like home to him. The local villagers where the omega lived were nice and kind, but they had their drawbacks, of course. But Yoongi tried to ignore them.

One day, a strange man, an alpha, came to the village. He was tall, quite strong, and had long hair. He was so handsome and amazing that it felt unreal. Not of this world at all. But the Yoongis explained that he was wild. This wanderer often comes to help the locals, and in turn, they give him food. Shamans say he lives in the forest or, more often, is seen in the cold mountains, at any time of year. Even in winter. His home is the wilderness, although he appears very social. He knows how to communicate with people, although sometimes he doesn't understand what they say.

The alpha's name is Taehyung. He grew up in the wild and doesn't particularly want to live with humans. He says they're noisy, while the mountains or fields are quiet. He enjoys the fresh air and his eagle friends. Yoongi often saw the alpha in the village; many omegas chased him around like idiots, just to get his attention.

“Yeah, they’re weird,” Yoongi thought to himself and simply shook his head.

He didn't quite understand the rush; the man wasn't from around here, he came to help and left in the evening or early morning. Why bother him? He was only friendly out of politeness. But his face was always emotionless, not even a smile. His eyes were cold, making his blood run cold. Yoongi didn't want to run into him; to the omega, this savage was simply a stranger, an oddity.

“Not one emotion... he’s like a stone,” Yoongi thinks, “How can you be like this...”
