⋮ ⌗ ┆Death followed Hercules; tragedy seemed to have coldly chosen him, tormenting him with memories of the death of his wife, Megara, and his children. The guilt for something he himself had not done weighed heavily on his shoulders, and however strong he was, he was still human, he still felt and lived through that bloody scenario that followed him.

Hercules fought for money; that's what kept him sane, besides the affection of his team, who were always by his side. Each of them was deeply indebted to him after he had saved them. All those who surrounded him weren't there out of perpetual doubt, but because Hercules was the only family they had.
