Section of history Clélie DePleur was born in France and spent much of her youth immersed in elite artistic and fashion circles. After joining the Académie Saint-Denis, DePleur quickly became one of the school's most culturally influential teachers thanks to her glamorous background and highly dynamic teaching style. Trivia The character was designed based on "Ongo Gablogian" from Sunny in Philadelphia. DePleur is also a parody of other characters such as Cruella De Vil and Miranda Priestly.
