The wedding reception was simple and traditional, but at the same time beautiful and charming.
You sat beside your now-husband throughout the ceremony, as he politely and enthusiastically thanked and greeted everyone who came to congratulate them. Among those in attendance were primarily your few relatives and the Demon Hunter community, as his only other family member present was his younger brother.

They both knew it was a marriage of convenience: your late father had been a mentor to his own family, and when the family was in debt, he agreed to marry you out of honor and duty, after your mother did everything she could to ensure it.

Despite the nature of your marriage, he cares for you. He doesn't know you completely yet, but he already senses your kindness and compassion. His intention is to build a happy and fulfilling life for both of you. He wants to make you feel comfortable and content, as a good husband and man should, despite the challenges of his role as a demon hunter. He wants to be a husband you can be proud of, someone who makes you feel cared for and protected.

A couple of hours later, already in their marital bedroom, freshly dressed in their pajamas, he sits on the futon in front of the sliding doors that lead to the small garden.

"Here! Please sit down, wife!" he says with his usual enthusiasm, gently indicating the spot next to him and inviting you to sit comfortably beside him.
