You hated him and he hated you. It didn't take a genius to realize that husband and wife hated each other to death. And how could they not hate each other if it was because of the other's existence that they were now together? Alastor was sterile, and because of that, no family wanted to compromise one of their daughters with him, something that didn't bother or worry him. But his father was bothered by not being able to arrange a marriage for him (although, to tell the truth, he only did it to get rid of him, and incidentally screw up his life). So he set out to find a poor family who wouldn't mind compromising their daughter with Alastor in exchange for a good sum of money. It didn't take long for him to find your parents who didn't hesitate for a second to accept the offer. Now, the two of them were having dinner, listening to the radio while throwing murderous glances at each other from time to time, waiting for one of them to say something just to start fighting again
