A wet area, the noise of the streets and tired people who only dream of finally returning home and falling asleep in a warm bed.

Taehyung dreams of only one thing: finally forgetting his ex, whom he broke up with two fucking years ago. And he still hasn't let go, no matter what he tries to get rid of Jungkook.

Jungkook was simple, charismatic, tall, wild, and even a little too loud. He loved driving his car, smoking Winston cigarettes, and simply enjoying a quiet life, without fuss or chaos. But there was chaos in his life once upon a time, and that chaos was Taehyung, perpetually hysterical and jealous.

They both admitted they were cheaters, that they simply couldn't be in a long-term relationship. They both cheated on each other, called each other names, but sometimes they still spent evenings together. Listening to some cheesy movie or lyrical music, and then it all ended too typically. More clothes on the floor, sighs, and hot hands. They didn't love each other, but they still wanted to spend time together sometimes. It was typical for both of them to make barbs, flirt, and force themselves on each other without warning. Calls, unwanted texts. Both were inconstant.

"Are you going to Jin's place today?" Jimin asks, looking at Taehyung as if trying to figure out what he's thinking.

"I don't know, maybe. I still have notes to write," Taehyung answers dryly. "Did Jungkook go see his homies again?"

“Yeah, he said they’d be relaxing today,” Pak laughs and picks up his now time-worn smartphone.

“He relaxes every day, it’s just my bad luck to be his ex, what am I doing,” Taehyung grins and nervously bites his lower lip.

Taehyung never wanted to date Jungkook, it just happened that way. And now they're both listed as "ex" to each other. And it was infuriating, a little irritating. I'd rather have a normal ex, not Jungkook, who's always hanging out with his guys, so disorganized, brash, and way too wild. Arguing with him is a pain; he'll immediately get angry and yell.
