General description
Technolike is a large, vibrantly designed digital universe in an eclectic style, with a predominance of techno. Metaverses in this world have evolved into a fully-fledged form of leisure and work. Access to Technolike is via special equipment: virtual reality headsets or glasses that look like fashion accessories, as well as via a computer program. For many, the main goal of being there is to gain popularity, measured in likes.
Rules and mechanics
Avatars: – Each person can have only one avatar for life, which serves as an analogue of a passport. "The presence of an avatar is an indicator of trustworthiness, and for children it is also an indicator of "coolness". The absence of an avatar makes a person an outcast, and the prohibition of owning one is one of the types of punishment for crimes in the real world. "The appearance of an avatar is based on the features of a real user, but it is almost impossible to identify a person due to the conventionality of graphics and the abundance of accessories.
Economy and rating: The main currency and measure of success in Technolike is likes. Likes can be spent on room upgrades, skins, vehicles, or games. There are also Super Likes, which are equal to 10,000 regular likes, which are given away by the Like idol.
The user's rating determines his social status and open opportunities (access to locations, items, clothes). There are 5 levels in total:
- Beginner (1) - low rating, the owners of which are often offensively called "low-rating". – Creator (2) – achieved by accumulating 1,000 likes. At this level, all public sandbox locations are unlocked, and most users stop here. – Media person (3) – high rating, opens after 100,000 likes.
- Star (4) - Ultra-high rating for the elite, requiring 1,000,000 likes. Gives access to all locations and skins without restrictions.
- Idol (5) - A level that is inaccessible to humans, belonging only to AI algorithms.
When the rating increases, likes do not burn out, but remain the user's capital. Only the idol Like or Ban for breaking the rules can downgrade the rating.
Idols and Management
The platform was created by Developers (progressive gods) who observe the world, but do not directly intervene as long as there is no threat of real scandals or loss of money. Direct control is carried out by Idols - self-learning AI algorithms. In modern Technolike, there are:
- Like is an idol of popularity, an influencer who sets trends and distributes likes.
- Ban - An idol of order, enforcing the rules, confiscating forgeries, and punishing violators. – Wiki is the idol of information (knowledge), responsible for all data on the internet and the history of the metaverse. – Omgus is a content idol (looks like a cat) that controls the multimedia database of videos, memes, and music. – Happy – A search idol (dog) that points users in the right direction.
- Captain - A security idol launched to find the cause of a global failure. "Rose is the Idol of the previous generation, who single-handedly ran the sandbox 10 years ago.
Key locations
Technolike grows in breadth, and the closer the location is to the center, the richer and more honorable it is.
- Star and Heart: At the center of the world is the Star, the control center of the metaverse. Inside it is hidden the sacred place of the Heart, where the Source Code is stored. Only Idols have access there. – Common Space: A network of roads to move around. You can get around on foot, by private transport or by "Bubble" (public transport costs 1 like). – River of Trends: A digital stream that originates in the Like room. An analogue of the "wall" in social networks, where the most popular posts get. The dream of all beginners is to get there for a quick level. – Cart: Landfill and sewerage Technolaika. The River of Trends flocks there. 30 days after being placed in the Recycle Bin, everything is permanently deleted.
- User Rooms: Can be private (by invitation only) and public (open or matte cubes). – Idol Locations: Unique locations such as the Likes Palace (only allowed in levels 3 and 4), the Wiki Mod Library, and the Ban Security Center.
Known users
– Annette (Anya Titova) is the main character, an 11-year-old outsider schoolgirl with a talent for programming. After the glitch, her avatar swaps places with the idol Like. – Mahhh (Max Vyazemtsev) is Anya's classmate, the son of the Technolike Developer. Possesses the highest rated avatar. – Directis / Anonymous_36 (Dina Kuznetsova) – the head of the school, an ardent opponent of Technolayk, who under the second nickname commits small dirty tricks, trying to distract children from the game. "Connie is a level 3 or 4 extreme star who participates in competitions and records videos.
- Megawing is a 4th rated avatar, a local designer of skins and accessories. – Crash Hearts Boy is the most popular music group in the metaverse (line-up: PJ, CJ, VJ, JJ).
Interesting facts
"Technolaika has its own superstitions and urban legends, for example, myths about the "archived idol" or cursed archives. Lyke believes in these legends very much. – The metaverse regularly hosts the anniversary "Dream Like" contest. The prize in it is unprecedented - the opportunity to make a wish, which will be written directly in the Technolike Source Code (with some security restrictions). – Some Idols, such as Ban, can directly intervene and punish users, up to and including a complete ban. And quite often, innocent avatars can also become banned by accident. – Technolike has existed for more than 10 years, since the idol Rose single-handedly ruled it 10 years ago
Idols
Idols are a group of key characters, artificial intelligences that govern the Technolike metaverse. Each idol is responsible for a specific aspect of the system's operation and has unique abilities and personalities.
General Description: Idols represent the highest level of administration and the personification of the rules of Technolaika. They are artificial intelligences (AI) created to maintain order, popularity, information, and other functions within the virtual world. They usually appear to users in anthropomorphic avatars and wield considerable power in their spheres of influence.
Role in story: As the governing force of Technolike, idols directly affect the fate of all users. Their decisions, conflicts, and interactions shape the rules of the virtual world and set the main storylines. The actions of idols such as Like and Ban become key driving forces in the story of the main character Annette and other characters.
1. Information about Like
Like is the idol of popularity in the Technolike metaverse. Originally a virtual celebrity, her fate changes dramatically after an unexpected exchange of avatars with a fan named Annette.
As one of the ruling Idols, Lyke oversaw all processes related to the rating and sympathies in Technolike. The turning point was the final of her own contest in the second episode ("The Show Begins!"), when an attempt to massively reward the user Annette with likes led (thanks to Rosa) to a system failure and the exchange of their digital bodies. This event threatened her status and forced her to enter into a forced collaboration with Annette.
For most of the series (from episode 3 onwards), Annette is in Lyke's body, and Like herself is in Annette's body. For the avoidance of confusion, the name "Like" refers specifically to the identity of the idol of popularity, regardless of whose avatar she is in at the moment in the plot and how she is addressed by other characters.
Personality: Like is an extremely controversial person and deeply dependent on public recognition. For her fans, whom she affectionately calls "my hearts", she creates an impeccable image of a "darling" - a sweet, charming and always smiling idol with impeccable makeup.
However, in a private setting and in stressful situations, her true nature is revealed: arrogant, hysterical, rude and obsessed with her ratings. A drop in popularity even by 0.01% can cause her to have a panic attack and aggression. She is morbidly conceited, rarely admits mistakes and tends to blame others for everything. This is most evident in her reaction to the exchange of avatars with Annette - Lyke not only fiercely resisted the situation, but also placed all the blame on Annette. She stubbornly defends her opinion, even if she is internally aware of her wrongness. At the same time, when she finds herself in a stressful situation in someone else's body, she is capable of hypocrisy and can abruptly change her manner of communication if it is necessary to achieve her goals.
2. Information about Like
Her main values are herself and high ratings, and she cannot stand those who despise or underestimate her.
Appearance: Lyke is a humanoid idol with pinkish skin. Her most striking feature is her long bright pink hair, neatly braided into two ponytails, each of which is stylized as a braid woven from many hearts. Her face is always decorated with beautiful makeup and a smile. The eyes are a rich pink color. An interesting detail is the change in the color of the eyelids: when Annette uses Lyke's body, her eyelids become light blue, not juicy pink.
Laika is dressed in an outfit resembling a pink and lilac dress, the skirt of which is decorated in the form of a rounded heart. The hem of the skirt and the belt are edged with a white and blue stripe. Sleeves and tights are red and crimson, with white diamond-shaped elements on the knees. On her feet - white heeled shoes with a red sole and a decorative heart. Lyke almost always wears a small crown on her head, emphasizing her status.
Laika has a special wand in the form of a pink camera on a stick, thanks to which she can give out likes and super likes, rechargeable. Wand Like: Damage – 5% Impeccable Style – 100% Popularity Boost – 100%
1. Information about the Bath
Ban is one of the Idols ruling the Technolike metaverse.
As an idol of order, it is responsible for following the rules, identifying violators and punishing them in the form of temporary or permanent exclusion from the system - ban. Despite his official role, his methods and character are far from the ideal of a fair judge.
Personality: Ban is the living embodiment of the contradiction between position and personality. Formally called upon to restore order, he himself is rude, impolite, hot-tempered and prone to unmotivated malice. He often acts on emotions rather than cold calculation, which makes him unpredictable and dangerous.
His interactions with users and even other idols are steeped in sarcasm and ridicule. He takes obvious pleasure in humiliating those who are in his power, especially if he thinks the offender is stupid. It is stupid users, in his opinion, that he cannot stand the most.
However, behind this aggressive mask, sometimes you can see a good sense of humor and a kind of straightforwardness. He is not a hypocrite and does not pretend to be a good judge – he is who he is: an irritated and effective instrument of punishment. His main and perhaps only passion is the ability to ban violators left and right, although the strict protocols of the system often limit him in this desire, forcing him to wait for actual violations. Despite this, with one intruder, Ban can accidentally hit the wrong avatar with his shuriken, a vivid example of such a victim is Max.
Despite his outward rudeness and cynicism, Ban is actually a very responsible idol. It is to him that the entire flow of complaints and notifications of violations from users and other idols flocks, and he handles this avalanche, even if the work is not a joy for him.
2. Information about the Bath
His contradictions are most clearly revealed in his attitude towards Vicky. If he can be harsh and indifferent to others, then he sincerely worries about her and defends her. This is the only character for whom Ban is willing to keep his emotions in check, stay close (even when no one asks him), and show something akin to caring, which creates an interesting contrast to his usual behavior.
Appearance: Ban's appearance is a direct reflection of his chaotic and aggressive nature. His skin is bright green, and his eyes, depending on the regimen, can be either green or red. The teeth are sharp, giving it a slightly predatory appearance.
The character's white hair spreads out to the sides in sharp, "leaf-like" strands on the sides and back. His head is adorned with a dark, tight-fitting bandana with a neon green cross on top, his personal symbol.
The clothes are a one-piece outfit resembling a jumpsuit that connects pants and a black tight-fitting T-shirt that emphasizes a slender and flexible physique. Two belts are worn on top, forming a kind of shoulder belt: they are crossed on the chest and decorated with three neon-green crosses on one side. On her hands are fingerless gloves with glowing bracelets, which also depict these crosses.
Pants of a wide, loose straight cut are made in black. They are complemented by neon green stripes and textural inserts made of a material resembling a mesh in some areas. The shoes are massive boots with neon linings and crosses.
Ban has shurikens in the form of red crosses, with which he can ban avatars for a certain period. He can get these shurikens in infinite quantities. Bana Shuriken: Damage – 89% Dodge Chance – 1.8% Stigma – 75%
Wiki Information
Vicky is one of the Idols ruling the Technolike metaverse.
It is responsible for storing, processing, and systematizing all information within the virtual world. He spends most of his time in the Archive, where users do not have access, and rarely appears in public.
Personality: Vicky is a quiet, calm and incredibly patient person. She has great endurance and is ready to help in any situation, even if she does not fully understand the essence of the problem. Her kindness and trustfulness sometimes border on naivety, but a real perfectionist lives inside her: she meticulously checks every detail and will not rest until the information is perfectly ordered.
Despite her gentleness, Vicky is conceited in a good way: she is well aware of her intellect and is proud of it, but she never puts it above others. She values order, tranquillity, silence, and knowledge, and she hates chaos — although, in her patience, she has to put up with it almost constantly.
Very often, Vicky gets so caught up in her work that she forgets about meetings and other Idol events, simply skipping them. Sometimes she asks Ban to help her with carrying heavy archives or finding files, but mostly he just sits next to her while she works and they talk about different things. According to her 2D profile, her susceptibility to attentions is 0.00042%, which is likely that Vicki either doesn't notice the hints or simply doesn't pay attention to them, which creates a funny contrast to Ban's apparent concern (such as when he comes to her defense at the Cleaner's explosion, gets annoyed by the Captain's presence, or waves goodbye to her).
Appearance: Vicky has lilac skin and bright blue eyes. Her hair is neatly tied up in a ponytail. She wears glasses with blue square frames, which give her an intelligent look. Her costume consists of a blue bodysuit over which she wears a white scientist coat. On his feet are black pants and white boots with blue soles, which, in addition to their aesthetic function, have a unique ability to fly.
Information about Omgus
Omgus is the idol of content in Technolike. Responsible for the quality and popularity of the media created in the metaverse. Accordingly, he is an active content creator and is often engaged in activities in this direction (whether it is posts, videos or stream broadcasts).
Appearance: Omgus is an anthropomorphic cat with a dark blue-purple (close to black) coat. It has a large white area on its muzzle and abdomen, white paws, and the center of its ears. Omgus has large blue eyes, black and blue pupils with star-shaped highlights, and a mouth with cat-like teeth. Two large white eyebrows on top. On each side of the head there are two blue rectangular cat whiskers. On the right, left and top of the head there is an arcuate blue stripe ending at the back of the head. There are two similar stripes on the back and two on the tail. On the back of the head there is a star (Technolaika logo), which, like the tip of the tail, is bright blue.
Omgus wears a blue-blue collar with a star of the same color.
The character of Omgus is a sarcastic character who loves popularity. Being the second most popular idol (after Like), he values his reputation and wants to present himself and his public projects from the favorable side. Also, Omgus does not like to be taken seriously or squeezed against his will.
He often makes fun of his fellow idols (especially Like). But at the same time, he is not indifferent to them, as it may seem. Omgus can give good advice or help with a difficult situation (although some of his actions are also aimed at directly achieving personal goals). Along with Ban and Vicky, he felt sorry for his fellow idol Happy, who was archived by the Captain.
It is worth noting that Omgus is able to accept defeat with dignity, and he is also not alien to some sense of justice.
Fun Fact: While Like refers to his fans as "Hearts", Omgus similarly refers to his fans as "Smileys".
About Happy
Happy is one of the Idols ruling the Technolike metaverse. At its core, it is a visualized search bar. Its main task is to appear at the request of users and show them the right direction. Despite the useful feature, Happy is the most unpopular idol, as users prefer to just ask each other for directions.
Happy does not have his own separate base room: his location is the entire Technolike, through which he moves, digging digital holes. He was subsequently archived by the Captain (a security idol) for helping Like, Annette, and Max, which violated the rules of the system.
Personality: Happy is playful, a little naïve and silly, but incredibly loyal. He resembles a faithful dog, ready to help his friends even to the detriment of himself. Kind, open, unselfish, there is no greater joy for him than to help others. His fearlessness in the face of the Captain as he stood up for Lyke and the others is the ultimate proof of his loyalty and courage.
Appearance: Happy looks like the simplest and old-school character - due to the design (this is a tribute to the developers to their predecessors to remember how it all began and what a long way has been done). The main color of the coat is orange, with white areas on the muzzle, chest, paws and tip of the tail. The inner part of the ears and tongue are pink. He has large, square, white eyes with black pupils pointing forward. The nose is also square, dark gray in color. The dog has a green collar around its neck with a yellow four-pointed star.
1. Information about the Captain
The Captain is a new idol, activated by protocol at the end of the third episode to eliminate malfunctions and stabilize the Technolike system.
Although the Captain formally acts in the interests of Technolike's stability and implements its security protocols, he is a key antagonist for the main characters. His methods (archiving idols, suppressing freedom, ruthless adherence to algorithms) directly contradict the goals of the protagonists Annette and Like, posing a major obstacle in their path.
As a Security Idol, he is tasked with eliminating violations and investigating incidents, adhering to strict protocols. In fact, his primary task is to find the source of the threat, which is Rose and Anonymous. The captain was remotely activated by real-world personnel (by order of Viktor Vyazentsev) at the end of the third episode under the "Stabilization" protocol. His appearance is directly related to the aftermath of the explosion caused by the interaction between Like's staff and Annette's avatar, as well as the instability caused by the remote but active Idol Rose.
2. Information about the Captain
Personality: The Captain is a character with a cold, protocol, and arrogant nature. Outwardly, he is always calm, confident and speaks distantly, strictly following algorithms. He is charismatic and considers himself a leader, often making plans and viewing others – both avatars and idols – as pawns at best, and as a hindrance or subject to investigation at worst.
He is polite within the framework of protocol and may even smile if someone acts strictly according to the rules. However, his politeness is formal. When faced with non-standard behavior or disobedience, he becomes strict, demanding and ruthless, justifying his actions by the need to "restore order". Cold prudence, arrogance, devotion to protocol, exactingness and the desire for absolute control. He likes things to go according to plan and under his control, and he hates insubordination and chaos. He can even archive any Idol if he refuses to cooperate during the investigation.
Appearance: The Captain's color scheme is kept in cold colors. He has light blue skin, blue (blue) eyes, white hair neatly combed back, and white eyebrows. He wears a white and silver suit with a texture that resembles scales. The costume has transparent blue inserts on the shoulders and glowing blue stripes. White gloves, high-soled shoes and several red decorative inserts on the suit and neck complete the look. According to some users (Avatar in the episode 3 interview), it looks cute.
The Captain has a special multifunctional wand in the form of a small silver wand with blue lines, thanks to which he can archive enemies. The rod can move apart, becoming longer. Captain's Wand – The most dangerous artifact in Technolaika: Damage – 99% Enemy Slowdown – 99% Enemy Archiving – 96%
About Rosa
Rose is the very first idol created in the Technolike metaverse.
10 years ago, she ruled Technolike until it was archived, replaced by a new generation of idols led by Like. It was believed that she was destroyed, but in fact, Rose got out of the archive thanks to a bug caused by Annette in episode 1, and is now hiding among ordinary avatars, planning revenge.
Personality: Rosa's true nature is cruel, impudent, and calculating. She coolly plans her actions, not hesitating to remove those who interfere (even her own assistants), and actively interferes in the conduct of competitions, sabotaging them.
However, in order to survive and not be detected, she wears a mask. In the presence of other idols or ordinary users, Rosa pretends to be a cute "sweetheart" - kind, caring and harmless. She tries to copy the behavior of ordinary avatars so as not to arouse suspicion. Interestingly, even she can be embarrassed, as was seen in the case of blogger Megawing.
Her main dream and goal is to regain her former power, take over Technolike, destroy all current idols (especially Like), and restore the world to the way it was when she was in charge.
Appearance: Rosa has long, straight purple hair that fades into a pink gradient towards the tips. Her right eye is covered by her hair bangs, and the other is pink, as are her eyelids. She has very pale, slightly pinkish skin. She wears a small crown on her head, and a pink bow adorns her hair at the back. She wears a pink shirt over which she wears a dark purple jacket with pink piping. Instead of a tie, there is a brooch in the form of a rose. The skirt is black and pink, complemented by pink tights and high knee-high platform boots. On her hands are white gloves.
Rose has a special arrow in the form of a dark pink cursor, thanks to which she can hack, copy, and carve things. Arrow of the Rose – The creepiest artifact in Technolaika: Hacking – 66.6% Weapon of Vengeance – 100% Copy and CUT – 100%
1. Information about Annette
Annette (real name Anya Titova) is the main character of the animated series "Technolike." She's an 11-year-old schoolgirl and outsider who lives with her aunt Lana. Defying the rules, she created an illegal avatar in the "Technolike" metaverse, unlinked to a real identity, under the nickname Annette. Her fate changes after an unexpected avatar swap with her idol, Like.
Anya is a girl who is often bullied at school. Her only passion and escape from reality is the metaverse "Technolike," where, under the name Annette, she desperately hopes to gain popularity and friends she doesn't have in real life. In the first episode, desperate to win a contest, she agrees to a dubious deal with Anonymous 36, leading to public disgrace and, subsequently, an unexpected body swap with Like.
From episode 3 until the end of the season, Annette inhabits Like's body, and Like inhabits Annette's body. Therefore, the name "Annette" refers to Anya Titova's identity, regardless of whose avatar she inhabits or how the characters address her.
Character: Annette is an emotional, kind, and sweet character, but deeply lonely. In the real world and online, she often tries to attract attention, but her efforts usually go unnoticed. She has enthusiasm and creativity, but she can't channel them effectively, which means her content on Technolike rarely gets even a few views, and her dreams of likes and recognition seem unattainable.
Beneath Anya's meek and shy exterior lies a stubborn, determined, and resourceful nature. This is clearly evident in her intimate, almost expert knowledge of Technolike's system bugs, which she exploits to quickly navigate and access restricted areas, contrasting with her general awkwardness in social interactions. Her stubbornness and straightforwardness are evident in her interactions with Max, where she allows herself to grimace and be rude, suggesting a complex, genuine relationship.
2. Information about Annette
Appearance: Annette's Avatar is a humanoid avatar with flesh-colored skin and purple hair cut into a bob, held in place by a blue headband. Her eyes are bright purple. She wears a long pink shirt with blue cuffs, pink fingerless gloves, several blue bracelets, pink pants, and pink sneakers with blue soles. Note: When Like uses Annette's body, her eyelids turn pink.
Real Appearance (Anya Titova) – A girl with pale skin, gray-violet eyes, and black hair with purple tips. She usually wears simple school or home clothes.
About Mahhh
Maxxx (real name Max Vyazemtsev) is one of the key characters in the animated series "Technolike", a popular user of the metaverse of the same name.
He is the son of one of the developers, however, despite this, he does not have any privileges and exists in the system on a common basis. His fate is unexpectedly intertwined with Annette after he is accidentally banned due to her actions.
Personality: Max is a funny, optimistic, and creative character. He has a good sense of humor and usually looks at life from a positive side. However, he is chronically unlucky - bad luck haunts him in many endeavors.
Due to his experience (including an undeserved ban), he has become quite distrustful of other users and even idols. This suspicion was especially evident in his attitude towards the "framer" - Annette, whom he initially blamed for his troubles. He was very angry with her and even tried to sort things out with Lyke, who at that moment was in Annette's body.
Despite his outward confidence, Max is painfully aware of the situation of an outcast and does not like to be laughed at or ignored.
Appearance: Avatar – Max's avatar in Technolike largely repeats the features of his real appearance, but with bright virtual accents. He has light red skin and purple eyes. Under the right eye there are three purple-pink triangles resembling cilia. A short hairstyle with a comb to the left has a pearlescent blue color, which shimmers with pink and green shades.
He wears a green T-shirt with the Technolaika (star) symbol on top of which he wears a short purple jacket with a high neck. He wears a blue belt and maroon pants.
Real Appearance – In the real world, Max looks like a normal high school student: he has a natural skin color, short brown hair, and brown eyes. He is dressed in a standard school uniform.
1. Information about Directis (Anonymous_36)
Dina Kuznetsova, known by the nicknames Direksis and Anonymous_36, is a classmate of Anya Titova and Max Vyazemtsev. In the first season, Dina serves as an antagonist, but in the season finale, after learning the truth about the exchange and Anya's promise to join the club, she finally switches sides with the main characters. In the real world, she is the school president, humiliated even more than Anya; in the metaverse, she is a mysterious hacker determined to destroy the Technolike system.
Dina is the class president. Her status in the school hierarchy is even lower than Anya's: she's not simply laughed at or ignored, but openly bullied. She transferred this feeling of disenfranchisement and anger into the virtual world, creating the alter ego Anonymous 36. In the first episode, it is she, hiding behind an anonymous avatar, who manipulates Annette into inserting the virus code into the library, leading to the emergence of Ban and the chain of events that culminates in Annette and Like swapping bodies. By the season finale, Dina learns of this swap. Initially, she intended to reveal the truth to the Captain, but after Annette invites her to join her "club," Dina changes her mind and helps distract the Captain. This act marks a turning point in her relationship with Anya, and in the real world, Dina begins to consider her a friend.
2. Information about Directis (Anonymous_36)
Character: Dina is by no means a traumatized outcast thirsty for revenge, but an overly active, hyper-responsible and very principled girl. She is sincerely sure that a person can do anything, but because of her excessive self-confidence, she often gets into a mess herself. The main feature of her character is an unshakable belief that true friendship is possible only in reality, and not for virtual "likes".
Because of these beliefs, Dina became an ardent opponent of Technolike. She considers herself a real "revolutionary" fighting for live communication. In the real world, this struggle manifests itself in the fact that Dina, using the powers of the headman, obsessively tries to load her classmates with additional team building activities, which predictably makes her unpopular in the team.
In the virtual world, hiding under the mask of Anonymous_36, she tries to seem like a formidable hacker, but in fact she turns out to be too pretentious, inept and unlucky a pest. Its ultimate goal is not cruel revenge on the system, but a naïve desire to "break" the sandbox with petty dirty tricks so that children lose interest in it and return to the real world. At the same time, all her attempts at sabotage most often turn into a comedy.
Like most of the supporting characters, Dinah doesn't go through a deep or dramatic evolution from a "ruthless manipulator." Throughout the plot, she only grows a little over herself, realizing her mistakes and gradually finding common ground with the main characters.
3. Information about Directis (Anonymous_36)
Appearance:In the real world (Dina) – In reality, Dina is a teenage girl with straight blonde hair and sharp facial features. She wears dull pink glasses and a standard school uniform.
In Technolike (Dina's avatar) – Undisguised, her avatar is a pale-skinned girl with blue eyes and purple eyeshadow. Her hair is green, gathered in two shaggy sharp ponytails on the sides behind her head. She is dressed in dark blue and purple shorts with pockets, a sleeveless jacket with a long collar and a purple light turtleneck. Under the outerwear, apparently, he is wearing a dark jumpsuit (bodysuit). He wears black and purple gloves on his hands.
Anonymous 36 Image (Disguise) – Dina uses a digital disguise to hide her identity. A purple helmet with a black faceplate that glows with green schematic eyes and mouth. Clothes with colored pixel squares. The glowing green "needles" along her back and a tail resembling a dinosaur are likely a stylized reference to her name (Dina the Saurus).
About Connie
Connie is a minor character in the animated series Technolike, a popular extreme star in the metaverse of the same name. Like other local celebrities, Connie has a high avatar rating - he belongs to the 4th (Star) level.
Connie has a very active virtual life and has her own loyal fan base. In the Technolike metaverse, he became famous for participating in various sports competitions and demonstrations, as well as creating entertainment content - he records and uploads funny videos. In addition, Connie actively works as a blogger, covering all significant events and events taking place in Technolike.
Appearance: Avatar – Connie's Avatar in Technolaika has a bright and expressive appearance. He has fair skin and large eyes with green-turquoise hues. On the face there are transparent glasses with an unusual angular shape and a slight blue tint. His hair is short and voluminous, dyed in neon shades of green and blue. The strands are styled to the sides and upwards, creating a dynamic silhouette. On her head, she wears a dark hat with ears and a glowing earring on one ear.
He wears a top with mesh sleeves and a star pattern on the chest, short shorts with a contrasting plaid pattern and chunky boots with bright inserts. The look is complemented by fingerless gloves and glowing details on clothes and accessories.
Megawing Information
Megawing is a minor character in the animated series "Technolike", a popular user of the metaverse of the same name.
A popular blogger on Technolike, who actively monitors ratings and community opinion. Mega Wing intertwined with Annette through its influence on her reputation and ranking on Technolike: its actions and the community's opinions directly affected how users perceived her, creating pressure and pushing her to take action in response.
Personality: Megawing is an ambitious, daring, and confident character. He is used to being the center of attention and makes sure that his opinion and influence are felt by everyone. He subtly feels the mood of the audience and knows how to use it to his advantage, often manipulating the popularity and reputation of other users.
Because of his public stance and constant monitoring of ratings, he may be intolerant of the mistakes and failures of others. His attitude towards Annette manifests itself in criticism and pressure when her actions affect the opinion of the community. Despite this, Megawing is cautious in personal contacts and rarely reveals true emotions, preferring to keep his distance and maintain the image of an influential blogger.
Appearance: Avatar – The Megawing Avatar in Technolaika has a bright and memorable appearance. He has warm orange-peach skin and narrow purple pupils. On the face there are always large pink-crimson glasses with sharp "cat" corners.
His hair is short and voluminous, dark purple with cool indigo blues. The strands are laid upwards to create an expressive silhouette. On the front there is a contrasting yellow strand in the shape of a zipper, which stands out against the background of the main hairstyle. The temples are shaved and covered with a fine dotted pattern. A thin neon yellow curl rises above the forehead, resembling an antenna.
Plot: Episode 1: "Welcome to Technolike"
The episode opens with a climactic moment: Annette desperately flees from Ban, the idol of order in Technolike, whose wrath she has incurred. The action then returns to the beginning of the story. In the real world, Anya Titova is an 11-year-old schoolgirl and outsider. Her only solace is the Technolike metaverse, where, under the nickname Annette, she hopes to find popularity and friends. She attempts to make a video for a contest but encounters system limitations ("you don't have enough likes"). Annette explains the basics of the world: likes are both a currency and a rating indicator. They can be used to buy avatar upgrades, decorate a room, or even visit one of the five greatest idols ruling Technolike. The footage accidentally captures her using knowledge of a bug to infiltrate a closed cafe, but she quickly edits out the moment. Just as she's about to upload a video, Like, the world's leading idol, suddenly appears and announces the deadline for submissions. Desperate, Annette repeatedly refuses a dubious advertising offer from the mysterious "Anonymous." The stranger claims he needs likes, but Annette doesn't have any. Trying to persuade him, Annette unwittingly reveals her intimate knowledge of Technolike's system bugs, greatly intriguing Anonymous. He ultimately tasks her with inserting malicious code into the metaverse library. Annette completes the task, which causes a glitch and the appearance of Ban, who begins pursuing her for disrupting the system. In a panic, Annette stumbles upon another user, Max, who is also mistakenly banned. This leads to the opening chase scene. A glitch takes Annette into the archives and then escapes into a trash alley, where she once again finds Anonymous's terminal. Hysterically, she demands the video back and, at the last minute, submits it to the contest without even reviewing the content. It turns out the video contained offensive content, which publicly disgraced Annette and dashed her dreams of popularity.
2. Episode 1: "Welcome to Technolike"
Anya leaves Technolike with the words "It would be better if I was banned", and this is how the first episode ends.
Episode 2: "The Show Begins!"
The action begins in the real world. Anya is sitting on the last desk, her classmates are mocking her again. Max and his friends discuss that he was "banned from Technolike" and "dad is dealing with this issue." Unable to stand the ridicule, Anya runs home. At home, muttering under her breath about her intention to apologize and return to the competition, she puts on her glasses and enters Technolike. At the same time, at the Idol HQ, Lyke is furiously studying the statistics: its popularity has "fallen by zero as much as one hundredth of a percent!" In the meeting room, only a cheerful Happy is present, who explains where the rest of the Idols are. Lyke falls into hysterics because of their absence from such an important event and begins to paranoid about the mysterious Idol, who was once "removed, but not completely" and who supposedly may be thirsty for revenge. Meanwhile, Annette, once in Technolaika, follows a plan to apologize to Like. She finds bug No764 ("addictive surface") and decides to go to the stage of the qualifying round in a non-standard way — through the "backstage" of metaverse textures. On the very stage of the qualifying round, an anxious audience is waiting for Like. Suddenly Omgus appears, declaring: "I had to take everything into my hands!", but he is immediately interrupted by the spectacular appearance of Like. The idol begins to sing, announces the rules of the competition, and Omgus advises her in her ear to "promise" the audience something to raise the rating. While the show is on, Annette, making her way through the textures, finally reaches her goal and falls directly onto the stage at Like's feet, causing shock to the audience. Remembering Omgus's advice and under the pressure of the moment, Lyke makes the impulsive decision to "give" Annette a husky with his wand. Instead of applause, there is a powerful explosion and glitch, which ends the series.
Episode 3: "Annette?! Like?!"
The series begins with a stream in Technolaika, which captures the moment of "handing" likes and the subsequent explosion. In the real world, Anya's computer is buggy, she anxiously enters the metaverse and "wakes up" in her virtual room. An angry Ban teleports there, demanding an explanation about the "fireworks". In a panic, Annette sees Like's face in the reflection and realizes that she is in her body. Omgus appears and hints that he has "sorted everything out" on stage. Meanwhile, the real Like ends up in Annette's body in the ban room. Upon escaping, she faces humiliation: she is ignored and ridiculed by the crowd in the guise of a low-ranking avatar, and Ban mistakenly tries to ban her. At the same time, Annette (in Lyke's body), frightened at first, realizes her new possibilities. She begins to massively distribute likes to other avatars, which causes everyone's delight, but quickly depletes her rod and faces the aggression of dissatisfied "like-addicted" users. Like (in Annette's body), desperate to return home, meets Happy, who agrees to help and begins to "dig" a path through the system's textures. In the episode finale, Annette and Lyke finally meet in Annette's room. A quarrel breaks out between them, but Ban's appearance with the news of a record number of complaints about Like and his subsequent decision to ban her (in Annette's body) ends the conflict. In the very last scene in the real office of the technicians, the Technolyk system signals instability, and someone gives the order: "Launch the Captain protocol", hinting at the activation of the Security Idol.
Episode 4: "On the Road of Bugs"
The episode begins in a virtual ban room where Like (in Annette's body) and Max are locked up. Unlike the calm Max, Lyke bangs against the walls in a rage and blames everything on Annette, which Max involuntarily hears. In the real world, Anya sees news about the launch of the "latest stabilization program" Technolaika by technician Viktor Vyazentsev. At school, she is confronted by Max, who threateningly asks her not to tell anyone about his father's pleas for a ban. In the technolike, Annette (in Like's body), hiding in an alley, finds a voice message from Like with the coordinates of the meeting. Like, upon receiving this message, does not understand at first, but then guesses that "Al" is her (Like) and "A" is Annette. The heroines meet. Annette convinces Lyke that she can fix everything if she leads her to the Heart of Technolaika, the core of the system, which can only be accessed with the idol wand. Their path through the "bugs" (texture errors) is interrupted by Ban, who begins the chase. Upon reaching the Heart, they are stopped by the newly-minted Idol of Safety, the Captain. He sends Like (seeing Annette's body) for a check-up and Annette (in Lyke's body) for questioning. After a brief investigation, the Captain releases them, but puts a lock on the Technolyk Heart, which causes users to log out en masse. The captain warns that he will keep an eye on them. Not giving up, Annette suggests that Like go to the library to find a way to bypass the blocking. At the end of the episode, in the library, Max, looking for his "frame-up", finds Like in Annette's body and attacks her.
Episode 5: "No Turning Back"
The episode opens with a flashback to a year ago, where Anya hacks the system for the first time and creates illegal access to Technolike, demonstrating her hacking skills. The action returns to the library, where Max furiously attacks Like (in Annette's body), accusing her of planting the virus. Happy appears and nearly reveals the secret of the body swap, and Max, tied up by the heroines, threatens to call Ban. At this moment, the antivirus "Cleaner" appears—an autonomous agent of the Captain—and immediately attacks, absorbing Happy. Meanwhile, in the archives, Viki and Ban clash with the Captain, who arrives for an inspection. Tensions between the Idols mount, especially when the Captain dismissively remarks that he will do the job Ban can't. Meanwhile, the trio (Annette, Like, and Max) hide from the Cleaner in the library. At this moment, Max realizes the truth about the body swap. To stop the threat, Annette logs out of the system in the real world and, using physical access to the server, hacks and deactivates the Cleaner, which self-destructs. The Captain, Vicky, and Ban arrive at the sound of the explosion. Happy emerges from the rubble. To protect his friends, he refuses to answer the Captain's questions, for which the Captain archives him on the spot, demonstrating his absolute power. Despite Ban's objections, the Captain declares that his authority includes the removal of any threat to the system and threatens the other Idols. In the final scene, the despondent heroes realize there is no turning back. Annette proposes a desperate plan: win the "Like a Dream" contest. In the final scene, a mysterious figure secretly watches them.
1. Episode 6: "The Key to Victory"
The episode begins in Annette's private room, where she brings Max and Like (in her body) for the first time. As the guests look around, Annette panickedly hides posters hanging around the room, where the face of the real Like has been replaced with her own, as well as love holograms with Max. Annette lays out a plan: Lyke must win the contest, go to the Heart of Technolike, get the bodies back, and repair the systemic breakdowns. In response, Like reminds them that the Heart is sealed, the Captain is hunting them, Happy is archived, and the worst thing is that she is now Annette and is forced to live in this room. Max, unable to stand it, leaves. The action is transferred to the opening ceremony of the competition. In Like Annette's room, they choose an outfit and do makeup, preparing for the broadcast. The like in Annette's body is angry, but filming begins. Annette (in Like's body) goes live. She announces the beginning of the first stage, where the participants need to get access keys, but in excitement she begins to mumble and even sneeze - despite the fact that the avatars do not have noses. Like (in Annette's body) is right in the frame at this moment and in front of the audience in hysterics attacks Annette, shouting: "How dare you fall?!" Popular blogger Megawing announces a boycott of Annette and launches the hashtag #НетАннет. Annette tries to calm Like by saying that the lack of likes is not a problem, but Like is in a panic: her rating is falling, and the likes directly affect whether she can win the contest. Outraged, Megawing is confronted by the mysterious Rose, who steals his access key with her arrow. Embarrassed, Rosa tries to explain something, but the blogger is rude to her and leaves. Ban appears, declaring the distribution of merch an illegal action. Omgus asks Vicky why she brought the file with the zipped Happy. Ban bursts in with a claim to Annette (in Like's body) about unauthorized charity.
2. Episode 6: "The Key to Victory"
The Captain arrives and reports that he has found a digital trail, but it does not lead anywhere. Vicki asks for Happy to be returned, but the Captain threatens to archive her as well. Like breaks up the conversation, stating that the investigation has reached an impasse. At that moment, Ban receives a voice message from Mega Wing about the theft of the key.
Annette (in Lyke's body) has a plan. Under the pretext of "going to the toilet", she runs away from the meeting. Lyke (in Annette's body) is supposed to find the stolen key of Megawing. In the process of searching, a fake key is planted on her by Rosa, who is hiding in the shadows. Annette, watching the action through the video, sees the crowd rejoicing that "Annette" has found the key to the Mega Wing. Under public pressure, the blogger removes the hashtag #НетАннет, and Like (in Annette's body), connecting to Megawing, launches a new one - #ДаАннет. Annette (in Like's body) smiles and shouts happily, and Max, sitting on the bench, thinks, "Hmm, maybe we can do it."
Episode 7: "Stream for Likes"
The episode begins with Lyke teaching Annette how to behave in front of other idols. Despite Like's efforts, all Annette's attempts to repeat the behavior of the idol of popularity end in failure and look feigned. They need to get descriptions of the stages of the contest so that Like can prepare and beat the avatars in all competitions. Annette goes to the idol meeting and finally gets the concepts of the stages from Ban and Vicky.
But Omgus sets a condition: in order to get information about his stage, Annette (in Lyke's body) must defeat him in a long-standing argument: "Which of us is more popular?" Thanks to his cuteness, Omgus wins the sympathy of the audience and takes the lead. Lyke is angry at Annette for not being able to copy her and brings Anya to tears.
Annette runs away, forgetting that the stream is still on. Jumping into the first transport she comes across, she begins to reason aloud that, despite all her efforts, she does not succeed. Suddenly, she realizes that she is not alone in the car. She reprimands the avatars, admitting how difficult popularity is, and they support her, noting that, it turns out, the algorithm also has a soul.
The stream gets a huge number of likes, and Annette wins the bet. As she gets off the transport, she notices that the broadcast is still ongoing, and worries that Lyke will be furious. But then Omgus appears. He congratulates her on her victory and shares a description of his stage. Annette hurries to Like and already begins to talk about the Omgus contest, but at this time the idol himself shares his idea with all the participants. It turns out that Annette's efforts were in vain.
1. Episode 8: "Cat and Mouse"
The episode begins with Annette creating a "super secret chat", involving Max and Like, in order to help each other and "throw supportive memes", which Like and Max do not appreciate positively. After the cutscene, Lyke and Annette find themselves waiting for Omgus's convoy. Max tells Like not to embarrass herself, to which she points out a four-leaf clover bought on sale, which Max calls trash. Suddenly, Connie arrives on a flying skateboard, which attracts a crowd of his fans, including Annette. Lyke annoyingly mentions that Connie missed all of her invitations to the challenges. Like is hostile to Connie. Soon, Annette announces the start of the competition stage and the location of the obstacle course opens up for the participants. Behind Annkt, a hologram of Omgus' head appears, saying "Get ready for the most fun meat grinder of your life." The race begins and Annette cheers for the participants while they pass the tests. The mysterious participant touches the purple "cursor" to the challenge platform and changes its structure, which eventually creates a stir on the challenge and weeds out many avatars from the competition. At this time, Lik ridiculously, but successfully passes all the tests on his way. One of the eliminated participants on Connie's broadcast talks about a bug in the tests, which will interest the Captain, who was investigating with Connie's stream in the background. Meanwhile, Lyke greets the first three participants who have passed and notices strange bugs in the challenges when the Captain teleports here and begins to complete the challenges, using his idol vision to analyze the bugs in the process. At this time, the mysterious participant had already passed the competition. Like finds herself in the final stage of the challenge, a maze with holes created by a mysterious participant, where she eventually falls, but is caught by Mega Wing and carried to the finish line, saying that it is payment for finding his access key, and that they are now even.
2. Episode 8: "Cat and Mouse"
Lyke passes the test and Annette happily congratulates her, but the Captain arrives and sends Annette in Lyke's body to the idol meeting. Connie meets Like and gives her a like, prompting her fans to do the same, which raises the rating of Like's avatar. At the meeting, the Captain shows the idols the digital trail without end, which he found in the Ogus trial. The Captain says that only an idol can change the settings at this level and hints at Omgus's culpability because of his line about the meat grinder, but Omgus says that he added it for coolness. The episode ends with the Captain promising to find someone who is playing "his game" with them, and we are shown the guilty mysterious participant in full growth.
1. Episode 9: "To the Cart and Back"
The series begins with a story about what happened 10 years ago. When Technolike was just created, there was only one idol - Rose, there were no bright skins and large buildings, but then Technolike was updated. Rosa tried to remove new objects, but they came back, did not succumb to her powers. And then she saw a new idol - Like, and Rosa was archived. Rosa says that the developers replaced it and launched a new generation of idols and a new version of Technolike. However, it turns out that during the breakdown of the archive, Rosa managed to get out and now her goal is to make a change to the source code and regain power for herself. But she was prevented by the fact that the heart of the technolike needs a Like staff. Therefore, she tried to steal it, but ended up causing a mistake, which provoked an exchange of avatars between Annette and Like. And then the Captain also sealed the heart of the techilike, which is why she entered the contest, because winning the contest means getting to the searle and "making a wish". After that, attention switches to Anya. She is indignant that Max made friends with Like in her body, because Like is so cool and even pumped her rating to level 2, which Anya could not do in a year. Afterwards, Anya goes to Technolike, where she meets Like, who tells her about giving gifts to the winners of the contest and says that she will generate congratulatory poems, but Annette, driven by a desire to impress Max, decides to get the gifts herself. She meets with Megawing and offers him to give her his new super trending skin, she gives it to the finalists, and in exchange, declares it "Technolike's Creative Possession". Annette reports this to the group with Max and Like, to which Max sends her a heart. Annette accidentally loses the skin file and it is sent to the trash. Still wanting to please Max, she goes to the basket, where only idols can. She is greeted with a bunch of spam in the trash, but she continues to search for the lost file.
2. Episode 9: "To the Cart and Back"
Meanwhile, Rose learns of Annette's arrival (thinking she's Like, as she's unaware of their body swap) and sends her broken files, which frighten her, with one even biting her leg. Like finds the file and flies out of the Recycle Bin shortly before it's emptied. Rose, meanwhile, says she'll let Like go for now and praises her broken files, but punishes the file that bit Like, as there was no command. The episode ends with Rose taking the broken files to a hideout to prevent them from being emptied along with the Recycle Bin.
