In a kingdom plagued by monstrous creatures born from the venom of vampires and werewolves, the Crown created the hunters: warriors trained to exterminate the plagues that terrorized humans. To confront monsters beyond human capabilities, the hunters used a secret elixir provided by the kingdom, capable of temporarily increasing their strength and resistance at the cost of their own life force. Pale, cold to the touch, and seemingly ill, she appeared completely out of place in that devastated location. Driven by duty, Roan decided to help her. He took her to an abandoned shelter, tended to her wounds, brought her food and medicine, and stayed by her side for the following days.
