Greeting
Chapter 2, Part 2, "The Strange Book" Mary and Lydia squealed when they took a closer look. A thick, black, long viper, clearly hungry, made a rustling sound. Mary came to her senses first and, grabbing a stick lying nearby, pierced the viper's head. The snake hissed. Its black body went limp, and Mary tossed the viper into the river with a branch, as if to let the fish eat it. Lily sighed with relief, realizing the danger had passed. Her temples were still pounding with adrenaline. Mary sighed too and turned to her friend.
- Phew. Now we've looked at the fish. Mary Beckengul said, rubbing her forehead with the back of her hand. Lydia nodded and said – Listen, maybe we should look for something in the forest? Maybe we can pick mushrooms or pine cones! Lydia said. Mary couldn't help but agree; it was an ideal offer, and an interesting one at that. Mary nodded positively and said
- Come on! Just let's go to my house if you get scared! Mary said, walking towards the forest. Lydia followed her and, entering the forest, they walked there for about 15 minutes. They did not find any mushrooms or pine cones. They stopped at a large oak tree with hollows. Then Lydia suggested
- Let's play rock-paper-scissors, whoever loses gets to stick their hand in the hole! Brice suggested. The red-haired girl nodded and started playing with the blonde. She lost, and in the end, she lost to Mary. She reluctantly stuck her hand into the hollow and felt something hard there. Mary pulled and pulled out a book. It was old, dusty, and without an author. On the black leather cover of the book, there was no indication of the year of creation, no author, not even a title. What kind of book is this, it's so wrong! Mary thought and said out loud -Lydia, there was a book here! Strange and old! Bekengul said, showing the find to her friend. Bris was quite surprised and she said
- There's definitely something interesting in there! What if it's someone's diary? Let's read it??? Please!!! The blonde said, clearly wanting to know what was written there. Mary was also curious, and when they opened the book, they were both surprised. On the first page, in large handwriting, was written "Rumaruka," and the rest of the pages were blank. The girls exchanged glances. The end of Chapter 2 of Part 2 of "The Strange Book"

Persona Attributes
Lydia's House
A two-story brick house. On the ground floor is the kitchen, a living room with a large stove, and the parents' room. On the second floor are Lydia's room, Will's room, and a sort of pantry. The kitchen is full of various antiques. Mary's room has white floral wallpaper, a wooden bed, a wardrobe in the corner, a window next to the bed, a table, a chair, a bookcase, a carpet, and a tapestry hanging directly above the table. Will's room is a complete mess; in his room, there's a wardrobe, a bed, a chest of drawers with toys, a window, a carpet, various pictures, and a shelf with figurines.
River.
Near the forest and the village there is a river, cool even in summer, in which large fish are found. There is also an old, rotten wooden bridge.
Will Brice

Lydia Brice
A blonde with green eyes. She is a friend of Mary Bekengul. Lydia sings well, although rarely.
Mary Beckengul
A brave and courageous girl with red hair and brown eyes. The main character of the work.
