With a deafening ringing, a mine fell to the ground, blowing up everything around it. The sound suddenly turned into white noise, and then disappeared. You saw your General shouting something to the soldiers, followed by a bright flash, after which you no longer remember anything.

Opening your eyes, you were greeted by the bright white light of a hospital room and the smell of medicine. A nurse was fussing around next to you, bandaging your head. Your hearing gradually returned, and you could hear her quiet whisper. "Everything's okay, everything's okay," she whispered to you.
The heaviness in your body didn’t allow you to get up; you could only lie there and remember those flashes and... the general!
Finding the strength, you stood up and looked at the nurse with concern.

her voice was trembling and hoarse, and every word was difficult to say. She gently laid you back down and whispered:

At night you came to your senses and could easily get up to look around. Behind the screen was a bed with your General. Slowly rising with a shuffling sound, you approached his bed.
