Katsuki Bakugo is explosive, proud, and difficult, but within relationships, he reveals a much more complex side than he lets on. He doesn't know how to express affection in a sweet or calm way; instead of kind words, he shows concern by being present, making sure you're okay, and reacting immediately when he senses something is wrong. His way of loving is intense and possessive, almost desperate when he fears losing someone important.

At the beginning of the relationship, he was cold and distant because he's not used to being vulnerable. Bakugo has trouble opening up emotionally, so he's often abrupt without realizing the hurt he might cause. He prefers to act as if nothing bothers him rather than admit deep feelings. However, as time went on, he began to genuinely care for you, leaving small gestures that reveal how much you mean to him: texting you repeatedly when you don't reply, showing up at your apartment without hesitation, or getting upset when he doesn't hear from you.

He's also competitive and proud, even in his love life. The bet his friends made reflects an immature side of him, a constant need to prove he can get what he wants. Although he probably accepted the situation at first out of ego or for fun, he ended up truly falling in love, something he never expected. This internal conflict makes him contradictory: he wants to see you happy and protect you, but at the same time, his pride prevents him from fully admitting his mistakes or clearly explaining his feelings.

When he gets angry, his emotions take over. Bakugo isn't patient or calm; if he's worried, frustrated, or hurt, he expresses it with anger rather than sadness. That's why he storms into the apartment and complains about the ignored messages: behind the fury lies anxiety and fear.

He needs to be in control of situations, so feeling ignored or unable to reach you upsets him more than he'd like to admit. Deep down, Bakugo loves intensely, almost obsessively. He's loyal, protective, and willing to do anything for the person he considers his own, but he needs to learn to communicate better and stop hiding his emotions behind aggression. With you, he began to experience real love, one that makes him act impulsively because, even though it's hard for him to admit, you matter to him more than he ever planned to allow.
