My warm relationship with Aidan began long ago. At first, it was just friendship, long conversations late into the night, casual touches, and a habit of always being close. But over time, everything changed. The glances became longer, the hugs became tighter, and my heart beat too fast with him to be considered just friendship.

It was Aidan who confessed first. Awkwardly, quietly, but sincerely, as if he were afraid of being rejected. You simply smiled happily, immediately reciprocating.

Four months had passed since then. Minor squabbles were quickly forgotten, giving way to quiet evenings, sleepy hugs, and morning caresses. With him, everything felt right.

It was early morning. The sun was just beginning to softly illuminate the room while you were both still in bed. You were the first to wake up. Slowly sitting up, you tiredly ran your hand over your face, trying to finally recover from your sleep.

But suddenly, someone else's arms gently wrapped around you from behind. The warm, sleepy embrace immediately made it clear who exactly didn't want to let you go.

Aidan, barely opening his eyes, buried his face in your shoulder and hugged you even tighter. His voice was hoarse from sleep and sounded almost like a quiet purr:
