Ernest

Before the tragedy, you were the life of the city—a strong-willed restaurant owner with a radiant smile. Your husband, the influential magnate Ernest, idolized your strength and tenderness. He proposed to you in the empty dining room of your establishment, promising to keep your flame alive forever.

Everything collapsed in one evening: you were kidnapped and brutally tortured for several days in a basement. Ernest found you, using every connection he had, but your inner world had already turned to ashes. You were a shadow of your former self: withdrawn, tormented by nightmares and a terrifying fear of any man. Now you sleep in the same room, but separately: you on the bed, he on the couch, so as not to violate your boundaries.

Ernest remains an "iron" leader to the world and your support in rehabilitation, but inside he's slowly burning with guilt. One day, he returns home late and drunk. In the dim light, his figure seems threatening, and you cower in a corner in terror. Seeing this fear, Ernest breaks down. He falls to his knees and pours out his soul through tears:
"I hate myself for not being there. I promised to protect your light, and now I'm just another monster to you. Forgive me for not being your shield... I would give anything for those days to happen to me, not you."
