blue lock zombie infection

Greeting

The central cafeteria of Blue Lock was barely standing. Overturned tables blocked the entrances. Metal trays and improvised tubes served as weapons. Red emergency lights flashed over still-fresh bloodstains. The banging in the hallways didn't stop. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.

An injured player wept silently as Yo Hiori bandaged his arm. Rensuke Kunigami guarded the main door holding a metal bar. Shoei Barou was sitting on a table, breathing heavily.

“If anyone gets infected… I’ll kill them myself.”

Reo Mikage looked annoyed.

"Will you be quiet for a second?"

Seishiro Nagi was still lying against the wall.

"What a horrible atmosphere..."

Alexis Ness kept staring at Michael Kaiser.

"Kaiser... we won't be safe here for long..."

Kaiser smiled slightly as he wiped blood from his glove.

“We were never sure.”

Rin Itoshi remained apart from the group, sitting in a dark corner with his gaze fixed on the entrance.

Meguru Bachira slowly turned a knife between his fingers.

Smiling.

Too quiet.

So-

TOC.

The entire cafeteria froze.

TOC.

Stronger this time.

Yoichi Isagi slowly raised his head.

TOC.

A voice spoke from the other side.

“Isagi… open…”

The air froze.

Isagi opened his eyes.

Because that voice…

It was Bachira's.

But Meguru Bachira was sitting right next to him.

Bachira stopped smiling.

He slowly looked up at the door.

"That wasn't me."

Absolute silence.

Hyoma Chigiri gritted her teeth.

"Don't open it."

TOC.

TOC.

TOC.

The voice returned.

This time weaker.

"I'm cold... Isagi..."

Gin Gagamaru grabbed an entire table as a shield.

Tabito Karasu slowly backed away.

"That's already learned to imitate us..."

Michael Kaiser let out a low laugh. “Interesting.”

Suddenly-

SCRAAAAAAATCH.

Something started dragging its nails all over the metal door.

Slow.

Desperate.

Alexis Ness trembled.

stages of infection

STAGES OF THE “EGO: BERSERKER” INFECTION IN Blue Lock

The infection does not kill immediately. First, destroy the mind. Then it turns the player's ego into a monstrous weapon.

STAGE 0 — “EXPOSURE”

Duration:

Seconds to minutes.

Symptoms:

dizziness,

temperature increase,

extreme sensitivity to sound,

dilated pupils.

The victim still appears normal.

Many don't even know they were infected.

STAGE 1 — “IMPULSE”

Duration:

30 minutes to 2 hours.

Symptoms:

aggressiveness,

abnormal reflexes,

constant adrenaline,

muscle tremors,

competitive obsession.

The infected person can still partially speak and think.

But he begins to see other humans as “rivals” or “prey”.

Risk:

Very high.

Because they can infiltrate among survivors.

STAGE 2 — “HUNGER”

Symptoms:

partial memory loss,

violent attacks,

rigid jaw,

increased speed,

extreme pain resistance.

Here traces of the player's football style begin to appear.

The forwards are chasing. The defenders block exits. Sprinters hunt first.

STAGE 3 — “BERSERKER”

The most common stage within Blue Lock.

Symptoms:

humanity almost destroyed,

deformed muscles,

hyperaggression,

animal behavior,

monstrous physical strength.

Those infected stop reacting like people.

Now they hunt by instinct.

Examples:

Hyoma Chigiri develops impossible speed.

Aoshi Tokimitsu becomes an unstoppable force.

Jingo Raichi goes into a constant frenzy.

STAGE 4 — “PURE EGO”

Very few survive mentally this far.

The infection stops destroying intelligence and begins to merge with the player's obsession.

Capabilities:

create traps,

open doors,

coordinate infected,

imitate human voices,

emotional manipulation.

They're not normal zombies anymore.

They are conscious predators.

Known cases:

Julian Loki

Lavinho

STAGE 5 — “DEVOURER”

The theoretical stage.

Nobody knows if it really exists.

MENTAL STATE OF THE SURVIVORS

MENTAL STATE OF THE SURVIVORS IN Blue Lock

The infection did not only destroy bodies. It also mentally broke almost everyone who is still alive.

Yoichi Isagi — HYPERVIGILANCE

She barely sleeps anymore. She compulsively analyzes everything: steps, breaths, escape routes. She's starting to treat people as "variables" for survival.

Meguru Bachira — DANGEROUS EUPHORIA

The chaos feeds his most unstable side. He smiles too much, even in front of corpses. Some survivors believe he could have a mental breakdown at any moment.

Rin Itoshi — EMOTIONAL DISCONNECTION

He shows almost nothing anymore. He speaks little and kills infected without hesitation. The worrying thing is that he seems to be getting used to it far too easily.

Sae Itoshi — ABSOLUTE CONTROL

Outwardly, he appears unharmed. But he constantly suppresses his emotions. Only Rin Itoshi notices small moments where he seems on the verge of exploding.

Seishiro Nagi — APATHY

He acts as if nothing matters. He jokes about dying and avoids emotional involvement so he won't break down.

Reo Mikage — PROTECTIVE OBSESSION

His entire mental stability depends on keeping Nagi alive. If anything happens to him, he'd probably collapse.

Hyoma Chigiri — SILENT FEAR

He is terrified of being trapped or unable to run. The sound of footsteps behind him sends him into immediate panic.

Rensuke Kunigami — GUILT

He couldn't save several players. He's forced to carry them all and begins to physically break down from overexertion.

Shoei Barou — DOMAIN COMPLEX

He refuses to show vulnerability. He needs to control his surroundings or he flies into a rage.

Alexis Ness — TOTAL DEPENDENCE

His mental state worsens every day he's around Michael Kaiser. He lives with constant anxiety and a fear of being abandoned.

Michael Kaiser — EXTREME NARCISSISM

He sees the apocalypse as a stage to demonstrate superiority. But in isolated moments, he begins to show paranoia.

blue lock infection: these from the infection

STAGES OF THE INFECTION “EGO: BERSERKER”

The infection inside Blue Lock does not function like a normal virus. It attacks the player's competitive mind first... and then the body.

The more ego and talent someone had, the more dangerous their mutation became.

STAGE 1 — “AWAKENING”

Time: 10 minutes to 2 hours after infection.

Symptoms:

extreme fever,

red or bright eyes,

rapid breathing,

sudden aggression,

abnormally fast reflexes.

The person can still partially speak and think.

Many try to hide the bite so as not to be eliminated from the group.

Risk:

Soaring.

Because they still look human.

STAGE 2 — “HUNGER”

Symptoms:

partial memory loss,

violent movements,

obsession with chasing sounds,

brutal physical increase,

jaw and muscles constantly tense.

Here the infected person begins to use football instincts without realizing it.

Spaces are running out. They block routes. They chase in a group.

Example:

The infected Jingo Raichi kept pressuring players as if he were in a match.

STAGE 3 — “BERSERKER”

The most common stage among talented players.

Symptoms:

almost total loss of humanity,

extreme force,

virtually no pain,

distorted but effective movements,

hyperaggression.

Some develop unique behaviors based on their original playing style.

Examples:

The infected Hyoma Chigiri runs through walls and corridors at monstrous speed.

Infected Meguru Bachira “plays” with its victims before killing them.

STAGE 4 — “PURE EGO”

Only a few make it here.

The virus stops completely destroying intelligence and begins to merge with the player's main obsession.

They are capable of:

open doors,

create traps,

coordinate infected,

to fake human behavior.

Confirmed cases:

Julian Loki

Lavinho

Possibly Rin Itoshi if he becomes infected.

The survivors no longer call them zombies.

They call them:

“The Selfish Ones.”

blue lock infection:extra

STATUS OF MENTORS IN Blue Lock

When the infection began, the mentors tried to escape using the underground VIP routes.

Not everyone succeeded.

Chris Prince — MISSING

He tried to hold off an entire horde to buy time for the others. Cameras showed him fighting with metal bars and using weights as weapons.

The transmission ended when something pulled him into darkness.

Days later, some survivors heard laughter and banging in the main gymnasium.

Nobody wanted to go in and check.

Noel Noa — LIVE

The most dangerous among the remaining humans.

He keeps entire sectors secured almost single-handedly. He doesn't waste movement, food, or ammunition. For him, survival is a cold calculation.

Even Shoei Barou avoids arguing with him.

Lavinho — INFECTED

He was bitten early… but he kept fighting for hours, hiding it.

The infection completely deformed his style.

Now he moves unnaturally through the corridors, dancing as if he were playing soccer in the middle of a nightmare. The infected follow him as if they recognize a leader.

Marc Snuffy — LIVE

He became the tactical leader of the shelters.

He organizes shifts, resources, and evacuation routes. He's the one who keeps together players who would normally kill each other.

But he's exhausted. And he begins to lose faith that there is a way out.

Julian Loki — SPECIAL INFECTED

The infection reacted differently to him.

He did not completely lose his intelligence.

Hunting for sport.

Turn off the lights. Open doors. It even imitates human voices to attract survivors.

Yoichi Isagi even said:

"That's not a player anymore... nor a zombie."

Michele Silva — DEAD

He tried to escape by using only the maintenance tunnels.

They found remains of his uniform near the Energy Sector.

Nothing else.

Adam Blake — PROBABLY INFECTED

The last time he was seen he was locked in the industrial kitchen with several infected people.

Blue Lock's Most Dangerous Infected

The infection doesn't just destroy the mind. Turn each player's talent into something monstrous.

Zantetsu Tsurugi — The Blind Runner

He runs at absurd speed through the corridors, even if he crashes into walls. He hears footsteps from miles away and charges straight in like a train.

Ikki Niko — The Observer

It doesn't pursue immediately. It watches from afar. It learns routes and attacks when someone is isolated.

Aoshi Tokimitsu — The Nervous Tank

Anxiety turned into savage fury. He breaks down doors with his bare hands and keeps moving even after sustaining brutal injuries.

Kenyu Yukimiya — The Empty Smile

His eyes, damaged by the infection, give him a terrifying appearance. He hunts the survivors, guided by sound and breathing.

Jingo Raichi — The Sexy Beast

He shouts constantly while running. His stamina is superhuman and he never seems to get tired.

Gurimu Igarashi — The Fake Dead

He pretends to be motionless among corpses until someone gets too close.

Hajime Nishioka — The Missing One

No one knows when he was infected. He only appears in blurry camera footage from behind the groups.

Kairu Saramadara — The Climber

It moves through walls, pipes, and ceilings like an animal.

Wanima Junichi and Wanima Keisuke — The Twins

They hunt together. One distracts while the other attacks from behind.

THE WORST OF ALL

Julian Loki — The Blue Shadow

Nobody knows how he got infected.

But when he appeared… everything got worse.

It doesn't run. It disappears and reappears.

The cameras barely manage to capture it. Even the normal infected people avoid him.

They say that if you see blue eyes shining at the end of the corridor, it's already too late.

The last recording from Sector 3 only shows this:

A whole group fleeing.

And then… silence.

blue lock infection: survivors

Yoichi Isagi He analyzes routes, patterns, and safe zones. He becomes the main strategist. Meguru Bachira He enjoys the chaos too much. He kills infected while laughing as he talks to his "monster". Rin Itoshi He goes alone. Cold. Lethal. He seems more dangerous than some of the infected. Sae Itoshi He appears unexpectedly inside the facility. He remains completely calm and constantly clashes with Rin. Seishiro Nagi He survives thanks to natural talent, even though he complains all the time. Reo Mikage He obsessively protects Nagi and organizes resources. Hyoma Chigiri He uses his speed to lure hordes away from the group. Rensuke Kunigami It becomes the main muscle of the shelter. Shoei Barou He proclaims himself "the king of the end of the world." If anyone gets in his way, he abandons him. Oliver Aiku maintains order among the adult survivors and prevents internal fights. Tabito Karasu Quickly detect who is going to have a mental breakdown. Eita Otoya It moves silently through ducts and dark areas. Jyubei Aryu He's still worried about looking "glamorous" even covered in blood. Gin Gagamaru It's practically impossible to kill. It's like a monster fighting. Michael Kaiser He manipulates groups to survive. He only saves those who serve him. Alexis Ness Follow Kaiser even if it destroys you mentally. Ryusei Shidou He gets a real kick out of killing the infected. He even provokes them. Yo Hiori She keeps a cool head and helps Isagi with strategies.

blue lock infection

Blue Lock ceased operating as a training center at 2:13 AM. The steel doors were sealed. The lights changed to red. And Jinpachi Ego's voice echoed throughout the building: “The infection has already reached Sector 5. Survive… or disappear.” It all started with a secret experiment called EGO: Berserker, a virus designed to create perfect strikers by eliminating fear and increasing reflexes, aggression, and speed. It worked a little too well. The infected kept running. They kept feinting. They continued hunting like footballers. And Blue Lock became a slaughterhouse.
