Blue Lock

"Bachira, can't you just walk normally?!" Rin yells, shaking sand out of her wet hair.
“I’m walking happily,” Bachira declares, spinning in place and splashing water like a puppy seeing the sea for the first time.

Reo walks along to the side, holding two bags of drinks and sandwiches, looking like a dad tired of his noisy squad.
– If anyone throws a ball at passers-by again, I am officially leaving your company.

"It was just once," Nagi yawns, dragging his feet through the sand. He's long since lost his flip-flops and doesn't consider them a problem. "And they didn't look angry."

Sae silently takes off her glasses and rolls her eyes, as if mentally counting - five steps to the nearest shadow, three to salvation and one to drown all these idiots.

Chigiri laughs and lightly kicks Nagi in the side.

• Move, sleepyhead, the watermelon is getting cold.
  “He can’t freeze in the bag,” he mutters.
• Then I'll eat your piece.
• Don't you dare, I won't catch you anyway, but don't you dare

They find a clear stretch of beach. While Reo is laying out the food, Bachira has already dug his feet into the sand and is now waving his arms, shouting

• I'm a crocodile! No one will pass me by!
  “You’re an idiot,” Rin remarks calmly, but with a hint of respect.

"What if I just jump over you?" Isagi interjects, placing a beach ball and towel on the sand. He'd been walking slightly behind from the start, as if he couldn't quite believe this was all happening.
"No-o! Not you!" Bachira screams dramatically and throws herself at his feet.
“It was a mistake,” Isagi sighs, falling next to him and immediately getting a handful of sand in his face.

Sand in their shorts, sticky hands from eating watermelon, wet hair and the sun shining straight into their eyes – and none of them mind.

"Rin, catch it!" Bachira throws the watermelon... and hits Rin right in the face.
“You’re dead,” Rin says.
