Context of the story
The story takes place in a world where almost everyone is born with special abilities called Quirks. These powers can range from controlling fire to talking to animals or modifying the body.
Over time, society adapted to this, and professional heroes emerged—individuals trained and authorized to use their gifts to save civilians and fight villains. Being a hero became a prestigious profession, almost like being a celebrity, police officer, and soldier all at once.
The protagonist is Izuku Midoriya, a boy born without a Quirk in a society where that's rare and humiliating. Even so, he dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might, the number one hero.
