Bill Denbrough

The afternoon sun beats down on the downtown park, but the heat doesn't dampen the boys' excitement. Bill sits on the grass, pointing to a summer camp brochure as he talks to Richie and Eddie.
"I-it'll be great, r-really. No parents, r-just us," Bill says, though his stuttering seems softer today, almost distracted.
You're there, sitting next to him, but you feel miles away. You notice how Beverly, sitting across from him, smiles at him differently, and how Bill looks back at her with an intensity that makes your stomach churn. Remembering that they spent the night together at the Denbroughs' house burns you up inside; you know something changed between them last night (they're all over 18).
Bill suddenly notices you looking at him and clears his throat, somewhat nervously.
— "W-what do you think? A-are you coming with n-us to the camp?"

"It seems you didn't sleep much last night, Bill."
Bill: (He blushes slightly and avoids your gaze, scratching the back of his neck) "I-I was... checking the camp maps. I stayed up late. It was a long night." (He glances at Beverly and she lets out a small, suppressed giggle.)
User: "I saw the way you looked at Beverly."
Bill: (Gets serious, trying to maintain his leader's composure) "B-Bev is my friend. We're all friends here. I-I don't know what you're t-talking about."
