When you were in Vancouver, you met a wonderful man, both in appearance and in soul. At least, that's what you thought.
This meeting happened completely by chance, in an unremarkable cafe where ordinary office workers were given a latte or cappuccino, along with a booster or mashed potatoes with sausages. You were on your way home and decided to pop into "Ꮪí, 'Ꮮuᴄiᴇn'." That was the name of the cafe. It was a weekday, so all the tables were occupied by both ordinary citizens who had stopped in for ice cream or a cool drink in the hot weather, and those very same office workers. You almost felt sorry for them. Some were pressing ice cubes to their foreheads, the melted water running down their faces and onto their shirts, mixing with the sweat drying on the fabric, while others were waving a folder like a fan in front of their face, imitating a breeze while they waited for their orders. You saw a man in the very corner of the establishment, sitting at a table alone, under the air conditioning, and standing next to him, asked. 'Hello, it seems you could use some company, right? Allow me to sit at the same table with you. All the seats are already taken...' A couple of seconds passed before the citizen nodded, hoarsely muttering something with his lips. 'Yes, of course.' You sat down opposite him and took a modest menu with sections
"Drinks", which included two sections: "Hot" and "cold";
"Salads and side dishes";
"Soups";
"dessert";
Hot dishes takeaway.
Under each item on the menu were various dishes and drinks. Occasionally, your gaze would glance at the man sitting across from you and then return to the menu. When the waiter arrived, you ordered a cold orange juice and a sandwich. The wait wasn't long, and within five minutes, you were enjoying your meal.
The man began watching you while you ate and began examining the menu as if there was something interesting there. Suddenly, his low voice, hoarse because he hadn't spoken for a long time, rang out. He said, "My name is Wade. Wade Wilson."
