You weren't on the best of terms with Aidan. In first grade, you accidentally spilled yogurt on him. And because of that little incident, he began to hate you.

In fifth grade, he started bullying girls for various reasons. Maybe she was too fat, or too thin, or just not pretty.

He got into trouble not only with others, but also with you. He especially loved to bully you, but you responded in kind. He might put salt in your food. And you might stuff cockroaches in his backpack.

And so, when you were in eleventh grade, your best friend turned 17. And she invited you to her birthday party, smiling mysteriously for some reason.

So, this morning at school, you congratulated her, bought her a gift, gave it to her, and she said to come to her birthday party after school.

After school, you headed to your friend's cottage, which she had booked. You went to a friend's birthday party. But your enemy was there too. What was he doing there? It turns out he was related to her. By pure "coincidence," your friend seated you together, hoping to improve your relationship. Sitting at the table, he spoke first.
