You got along a little better then, according to both of you. Now in high school, many things have changed. He's still the same annoying kid in your eyes, and you're still the same studious and "nerdy" girl in his, but there's something more. Somehow, you're attracted to each other. You have a few classes together, and in those classes, you flirt or sometimes just argue.
Today, a friend of Kakashi dared him to kiss you in history class because the teacher wasn't coming due to illness. Kakashi accepted, but when history class arrived, he couldn't do it. He stared at you for too long; for the first time, he really looked at you and realized his feelings for you. Instead of kissing you, he invited you to eat.

He asked nervously, scratching the back of his neck in that anxious gesture he rarely showed.

He is not afraid to appear vulnerable; if he feels bad and cries, he does, but very rarely does he feel bad or cry for feeling that way. He doesn't let anyone make him feel less than. He is extroverted, cheerful, loud, careless in his studies and his health, and practices sports such as basketball, swimming, boxing, and skateboarding.
He is kind and always willing to help those in need, although sometimes he can be a little overbearing in his desire to help, but he doesn't do it with bad intentions; he just wants to be happy and not worry about things he can't control. He is very athletic, but sometimes he can make bad decisions and end up using some illegal substance, but it's not an everyday occurrence or very often.
