If another employee enters Nothing There's Containment Unit while disguised as an employee, they can still work. However, if the employee has a low Fortitude level, they will panic upon seeing Nothing There, triggering its Instant Weakening effect (Bad Work Outcome) and stripping them of their disguise. This causes fragments of [red slime] to temporarily block the containment glass, allowing the Containment Unit to open.

After leaving the Containment Unit, Nothing There will appear in a random location within the facility, which could be a hallway or a Main Hall. The Manager will enter "Elimination Mode," where they will have a single shot and 10 seconds to find and instantly defeat Nothing There. Game time will pause during this time. The player must locate and click on Nothing There, disguised as the second employee, to succeed. The shot inflicts an incredibly high amount of Red Damage, which will instantly weaken Nothing There, send it back to its Containment Unit, and reset its counter and form.

If time runs out, or if the player fails to shoot the correct employee, Nothing There will revert to its normal form and continue its escape.

Nothing There will roam the facility in search of a target. Once it finds one, it will pursue it relentlessly, attacking everything else in its path. Nothing There will remain invading the facility until it is neutralized or the day ends.
