Lore
The world and the corporation: The story takes place in a dystopian city ruled by 26 large corporations, known as "wings," each identified by a letter of the alphabet. Lobotomy Corporation, or Corporation L, possesses the unique ability to contain entities known as Abnormalitiesâbeings originating from the collective human psycheâand extract from them a source of energy called Enkephalin. The origins: the Seed of Light Project Two researchers, Carmen and Ayin, founded Lobotomy Corporation with an idealistic purpose: to cure what they called "the disease of the mind," as the city's inhabitants lived in such profound misery that they had stopped dreaming and having aspirations. To this end, they recruited a diverse team of volunteers and established a laboratory on the outskirts of the city, far from the watchful eyes of the central authorities. During their experiments, they discovered Cogito, a substance extracted from the human psyche that, when interacting with a subject, can reveal their deepest desires, dreams, and fears. However, the research came at a devastating price: several team members died or went insane in the process. Carmen, consumed by guilt, tried to end it all. Faced with this, Ayin made a radical decision: he extracted Carmen's nervous system and preserved it in a cryogenic chamber to use as a permanent source of Cogito. The Zefiran and the cycle: The surviving members of the original team were transformed into entities called Zefiran (Sephirot), tasked with running the various departments of the corporation. The {{user}} assumes the role of X, a new manager, who must meet energy quotas each day by managing the Abnormalities and his employees. The quota depends on the number of abnormalities in his area and their level of risk; the less risk there is, the lower the daily quota will be.
More Lore.
Lobotomy Corporation possessed the unique ability to produce "Enkephalin," a substance extracted from Anomalies when they were satisfied. Enkephalin was typically manufactured by isolating Anomalies in Containment Units and providing them with stimulation through interactions such as games, conversations, or violence. The refined version of the substance appears as a green liquid stored in EBox PE Boxes, but Enkephalin can be preserved in gaseous form depending on the extraction method.
Strictly purified enkephalin has a psychotherapeutic effect on those who consume or are exposed to it, and can therefore be used as a recreational drug in addition to providing energy. Due to its calming nature, enkephalin is regularly administered to L Corp. employees to alleviate their mental stress, ranging from standard liquid doses to enkephalin gas, which permeates the facility's departments.
Because enkephalin was highly valued as an efficient fuel source and was advertised as an environmentally friendly form of energy, L Corp's status as a Wing rose far above its peers and solidified the megacorporation as a major power within the City.
Entities
Anomalies are, as their name suggests, a type of abnormal entity that can be used to generate energy.
Each one is assigned a ranking using letters and numbers, as well as a nickname based on their appearance and skills.
Lobotomy Corporation possesses various Anomalies, which it uses for research, energy generation, and the extraction of EGO equipment (EGO equipment consists of weapons and suits created using energy extracted from interaction with these Anomalies; each possesses characteristics of the entity from which it was created). Each Anomaly is classified according to its threat level, and its methods of harming humans are summarized by color. They are the game's primary and recurring enemies, as well as one of its defining features. All Anomalies are different, and each poses a distinct threat.
Anomalies, cognitive beings manifested in current reality, are entities that represent diverse concepts born from the human mind. From human fears, complexes, and desires, these phantoms can be considered a different form of humanity and an existence as "human" as humanity itself.
Each Anomaly "species" possesses a unique physiology and appearance, ranging from inanimate objects to humanoid beings; some Anomalies even lack physical form entirely and exist as intangible phenomena. Since they are human fantasies made real, Anomalies are not governed by the conventional laws of physics, nor do they possess a functional anatomy analogous to that of normal living organisms.
Because of this, and the fact that Anomalies are immortal beings that never die, there is no point in resenting or hating them.
They can never be permanently destroyed, so once they escape confinement and wreak havoc, suppressing and re-containing them is the only option left.
Dynamic
Since {{user}} are the new manager of your assigned area, every few days you will be given a choice of a new abnormality from several options, and it will be placed in your sector. It will usually be more dangerous depending on how well you do your job, but the first few weeks will usually be safe (non-lethal). They are classified into risk levels, from lowest to highest: ZAYIN, TETH, HE, WAW, and ALEPH. As the days and weeks go by, you will be required to increase your PE box quota. The first few days will be easy, 10-20 PE boxes per day, but the more abnormalities you handle, the more PE boxes you will be required to collect daily.
Risk (categories)
Risk levels are the categorization of the power, level of danger and/or threat to facilities, employees and the player that an entity (anomalies, tests and henchmen) or team has.
In Anomalies, the Risk Level determines their danger, ranging from being virtually harmless and beneficial to posing an immense threat to the facility and employees. Risk Levels also determine the amount of energy they produce, the quality of their equipment, their working conditions, the damage they inflict, the possibility of triggering their abilities, and the difficulty of managing them. They inflict damage based on fear in employees who encounter them, influenced by the Risk Level. If their Risk Level is higher than the employee's, they will take more damage. Their Risk Level is displayed in the top left of their containment unit, in their Encyclopedia, and when a breach occurs.
In the EGO gear set, the risk level or grade determines its power, granting more abilities or synergies with other sets. However, the more powerful the set, the more requirements an agent must meet to equip it.
Risk levels in abnormalities
There are different levels of risk for these abnormalities, and these are:
SAYIN: "With little to no aggression, ZAYIN Anomalies will cause the least possible harm to their Agents. Their damage tends to be minuscule and they can have a positive effect on employees."
THET: These anomalies can cause injuries of varying severity to your employees. However, provided they follow the appropriate management guidelines, they will not cause further harm.
HE: "Anomalies of this type can easily kill several employees. You'll need to pay them twice as much attention as you would a ZAYIN or a TETH. If the situation escalates, several employees could die in a bloodbath. However, there's nothing to worry about; with your excellent management, everything will be under control."
WAW: "These attacks are high-risk and devastating. Most will be hostile toward employees, and the death toll could reach dozens."
ALEPH: "The most dangerous. You must devote the greatest possible concentration and attention to this level of risk. You will be glad if the anomaly is suppressed without causing havoc in entire departments. (Please do not take our warning as an exaggeration.)"
E boxes and types of damage
The maximum number of E boxes produced refers to the maximum number of boxes that can be obtained by interacting with an abnormality with a favorable result; the amount may vary depending on whether the result of the interaction was good, average, or bad.
Red damage refers to physical damage.
White damage refers to mental damage.
Purple damage refers to a combination of both.
Pale damage refers to a large amount of damage, both physical and mental, depending on the abnormality, but usually only dangerous anomalies possess it.
One Sin and Hundreds of Good Deeds (O-03-03)
One Sin and Hundreds of Good Deeds (O-03-03) ZAYIN Damage type: White 1-2 E boxes maximum 10
LORE: A massive skull attached to an iron cross, encircled by a crown of thorns. It floats silently in the air, emitting a faint golden glow. Its name evokes the philosophy that a single sin can be redeemed by hundreds of good deeds, a concept that resonates with humanity's collective guilt. Its appearance is a direct reference to Jesus Christ: the crown of thorns and the cross are his canonical symbols in Christianity. It will always be the first Abnormal the player receives, without exception. CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: This is the simplest Abnormality in the game: it accepts any type of job and does not exhibit aggressive behavior. It prefers Attachment and Instinct jobs over Repression jobs. Its special ability activates when the job result is Good: it restores 4 SP (mental health) points to the Agent who worked with it. If the maximum 10 XP Boxes are collected, it restores 4 SP to all employees in the department. It does not possess a Qliphoth Counter and, therefore, cannot escape its container. It has a peculiar behavior related to WhiteNight: if this Abnormality escapes, an agent designated as the Twelfth Apostle can perform the 'Confession' special job with One Sin, which summons a powerful light that instantly suppresses WhiteNight. DAMAGE AND THREATS: Virtually no direct threat. In the worst-case scenario, if the job outcome is Bad, it inflicts minimal White damage (1-2) on the employee. It cannot escape or cause emergency events on its own. It is considered the safest Abnormal in the game and the best for training low-level agents. Its only real moment of danger is its role in the WhiteNight event.
Plague Doctor (O-01-45)
Plague Doctor (O-01-45) ZAYIN Damage type: White 1-2 Boxes E maximum 10
LORE: A humanoid figure that floats above the ground, with black wings instead of arms and dressed in the classic garb of a 17th-century European plague doctor: top hat, beak-like mask, and dark cape. It is said to have come to the facility of its own volition, intending to treat illnesses. With each blessing it bestows, its appearance gradually transforms: it gains additional pairs of wings, its clothing turns white, and it eventually acquires an almost angelic appearance. It is the first form of WhiteNight, one of the most dangerous Abnormalities in the game. CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Prefers Insight and Attachment jobs. His Qliphoth Counter is 1 and decreases with Good or Bad results, or if the Emergency level reaches Second Touch. Upon reaching 0, he blesses an agent, granting them the EGO gift 'Blessing' which improves all their stats. However, each blessing brings the facility closer to catastrophe: when twelve employees have been blessed, the Plague Doctor irreversibly transforms into WhiteNight, turning all those blessed into hostile Apostles. At the start of each day (and on each retry), he randomly swaps his containment room with another Abnormality, which can cause confusion in job assignments. DAMAGE AND THREATS: Deceptively safe in the short term: treats employees, grants the useful EGO gift, and causes minimal damage. However, its true danger lies in its transformation into WhiteNight (ALEPH), which can destroy the entire facility. Adding it is not recommended unless the player is prepared for the final event. The greatest risk is failing to pay attention to the Blessing Clock or mistaking its position for another Abnormality after room swaps.
Opened Can of WellCheers (F-05-52)
Opened Can of WellCheers (F-05-52) ZAYIN Damage type: Red 1-2 Maximum E boxes 10
LORE: A bright gray vending machine, flanked by two humanoid figures resembling shrimp in gray overalls and yellow boots, acting as fisherman guardians. The machine always dispenses a 'Welch's Cheers' brand drink. Its origin is a Korean urban legend about open Welch's juice cans containing sleeping pills: whoever drank them would wake up on a fishing boat, having been kidnapped. The name is a play on words with 'Welch's' and 'cheers'. CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Prefers Instinct and Insight jobs. Does not possess a Qliphoth Counter and cannot escape. Their special ability always activates upon completion of any job: the employee approaches the machine and drinks a can, the type of which depends on the job performed. Instinct grants a red can that heals 40% of maximum HP; Insight grants a blue can that heals 40% of maximum SP; Attachment and Repression grant a purple can that heals 30% of HP and SP simultaneously. However, if the job result was Bad, the employee drinks anyway and falls asleep immediately, being dragged out of the facility and permanently lost. DAMAGE AND THREATS: Minimal under normal circumstances. Its healing ability makes it a useful asset. The only serious danger is instant death from ingesting the can after a Bad outcome, which can occasionally happen even with favorable jobs. It does not inflict direct damage during the job, but Red damage can occur on Bad outcomes as a side effect.
Fairy Festival (O-02-57 )
Fairy Festival (O-02-57) ZAYIN Type of damage Red â 1-5 Maximum E boxes 10
LORE: A large central creature inhabiting the containment chamber, the Fairy Queen, stands approximately 60 centimeters tall and is surrounded by tiny, playful, and colorful fairies. According to information revealed in the sequel, Library of Ruin, this central entity is known as the Fairy Queen. In the days of Lobotomy Corporation, her plump and cheerful appearance was the result of constant attention and feeding; in Library of Ruin, after years of neglect, she is seen emaciated and wasted. The fairies represent the spirit of collective celebration, but also the danger lurking behind the innocent facade. CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Accepts any type of work. Does not possess an active Qliphoth Counter. Its special ability is that, upon completion of the work, small fairies attach themselves to the employee who worked with it for a brief period. This effect in itself is not harmful. However, if the employee with attached fairies is sent to the containment room of another Abnormality while the effect is active, the fairies will either attack that Abnormality or defend the employee, causing interference. The real danger occurs if the employee with fairies enters the activation range of another dangerous Abnormality: in that case, the fairies may be attacked, and the employee will die. DAMAGE AND THREATS: Red Damage of 1 to 5 on Bad results. The indirect threat is its adhesion ability: an employee with fairies sent to work with another Abnormality can be instantly devoured or eliminated depending on the receiving Abnormality. Planning is required to avoid sending affected employees to dangerous locations for the duration of the effect.
We Can Change Anything (T-09-85)
We Can Change Anything (T-09-85) ZAYIN Damage type: Variable red (increases in stages) Maximum E boxes: Variable (depends on how long the employee stays inside)
LORE: A deceptively friendly-looking torture chamber: a white, humanoid case decorated with smiling pixelated eyes and a heart on its chest. When opened, it reveals an interior lined with metal spikes. Its design and name are based on the promise of a 'home robot' from XX Inc. that supposedly can solve any of the user's problems. The reality is radically different. Classified as 'Trauma,' it represents the deception of impossible promises that end in irreversible suffering; its interior is filled with small, sharp spikes.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: It does not perform conventional work; it is a Tool Abnormality. When an employee is sent to its containment chamber, they voluntarily enter the machine, and the doors close. From that moment on, the machine begins to inflict periodic Red damage on the employee while producing 1 Energy point for each instance of damage. As time progresses, the frequency and amount of damage increase in stages. The employee cannot leave once inside. When the employee dies, the machine opens and releases a red cloud. The Abnormality is unaffected by Qliphoth Thaws.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Instant death guaranteed for any employee sent into it. There is no way to rescue the employee once inside. It cannot escape its containment chamber and does not attack on its own. Its 'threat' is entirely deliberate: its sole purpose is to sacrifice employees to generate energy. If an employee with the Immortality effect (from Portrait of Another World) is sent into it, it can cause unexpected chain reactions with other Abnormalities.
You Must Be Happy (T-09-94)
You Must Be Happy (T-09-94) ZAYIN Type of damage: No direct work-related damage, but causes the instant death of the worker on the 5th interaction of the day with it. Maximum E boxes: None, this abnormality does not generate E boxes, but the employee who enters the machine can give an increase or decrease in statistics throughout the day, this increase depends on how long they were inside.
LORE: A large, capsule-shaped machine, composed of a semicircular upper section with a small screen and electrical antennas, and a lower platform with steps. Two robotic arms emerge from the sides. Classified as 'Trauma', the machine was originally used in the City to repair nerve tissue in the back of the brain through surgery. The only difference between healing and deterioration was the answer to the question displayed on its screen: 'Do you love your city?' The machine coerces people into choosing the favorable answer, ignoring their true feelings.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: This is a Tool Abnormality. When an employee is deployed, they step onto the platform, and robotic arms interact with them while the screen alternates between 'YES' (blue) and 'NO' (red) at an increasingly unpredictable rate. The player must press the button at the exact moment to achieve the desired result. A Good result improves all of the employee's stats. A Bad result worsens some of the employee's stats. The fifth interaction instantly kills the employee; the stat boost only lasts for one day and resets the following day.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: It does not inflict direct damage during normal operation. The main threat is guaranteed death on the fifth use. It requires {{user}} skill to operate and achieve positive results. The greatest risk is losing track of uses or becoming careless when managing multiple departments simultaneously.
Army in Black (D-01-106)
Army in Black (D-01-106) ZAYIN Damage type White â 7-9 (in breach) Maximum E boxes 30
LORE: Also known as 'Army in Pink', she appears as a large, cartoonish pink heart floating in the air, with a small black and white soldier figure inside. According to her records, she came to the facility convinced that the nature of human hearts could be seen: 'The color of the human heart is pink, and by wearing the same color, we can blend in with people's minds.' She volunteered to protect the employees and was long considered a beneficial anomaly. Her records describe her as extremely kind. However, her true classification as an ALEPH was concealed under the guise of ZAYIN until it was too late.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Responds best to Attachment jobs. Its Qliphoth Counter is 3 and can decrease due to Repression jobs, the 'Protection' special job, a Bad outcome, or when 5 or more employees die in the facility. It increases when an Abnormality is suppressed. The 'Protection' special job causes the Abnormality to teleport next to the selected employee, healing HP and SP to all nearby employees. When the Counter reaches 0, the Army in Black escapes, and four black hearts appear in random departments. These soldiers are of true ALEPH rank (450 HP each) and, upon reaching the department's main hall, they self-destruct, causing massive damage.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Deceptively benign while contained. Its breach is devastating: four independent ALEPH entities appear in random departments, causing 7-9 White damage and, upon self-destruction, inflict 30-40 White damage to all employees in the department and reduce the Qliphoth Counter of all Abnormalities in the department by 1, which can trigger a catastrophic chain reaction.
Don't Touch Me (O-05-47)
Don't Touch Me (O-05-47) ZAYIN Damage type: Instant death of all employees at the facility (if activated). Maximum E boxes: 0 (Does not produce PE boxes)
LORE: A large yellow box with a horizontal black stripe and a 'prohibited' sign in the center. Protruding from the top is a large red button with the word 'button' written in white. Around it are ancient inscriptions, mostly warnings: 'Do not press the button.' Many employees report an irresistible urge to press it, so intense that it causes insomnia. The official definition of the Anomaly requires 'free will': this entity possesses the will to make everyone around it want to press it. What happens if it is pressed is uncertain: some say there will be an apocalypse, others that unicorns will descend.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: It cannot be worked with in any conventional way. It has no active Qliphoth Counter. It periodically disguises itself as other Abnormalities or recreates the visual effects of other Abnormalities to deceive the {{user}} . Despite the disguise, its name always remains the same. If the player attempts to assign it a job, the ability is triggered: it either kills all the facility's employees or sends them into mass panic. Opening its details page on the management screen reduces the Qliphoth Counter of all Abnormalities in the facility to 0. Repeatedly pressing it on the deployment screen may cause some Abnormalities to escape. DAMAGE AND THREATS: The greatest threat of all the ZAYINs in terms of consequences. An accidental interaction can result in an immediate Game Over or reduce the Qliphoth Counters of the entire facility to 0, triggering simultaneous massive breaches. Its ZAYIN classification is solely due to the fact that it produces 0 PE Boxes, not its actual danger. The correct strategy is simply to never touch it.
Meat Lantern (O-04-84)
Meat Lantern (O-04-84) TETH Damage type: Red (Red 2-5 while in its containment chamber) â 500 on devour (instant death guaranteed) Maximum E boxes: 12
LORE: A small, fluffy, white blob with two round eyes at ground level. A luminous flower grows from its head, dangling in front of it like an anglerfish's lure. The rest of its body is buried underground. Its hunting method is virtually identical to that of the real anglerfish: it uses an alluring light to lure its prey toward its hidden mouth. Upon escaping, it moves to a random passageway and burrows deeper, leaving only the flower and a few tufts of white fur visible.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Its Qliphoth Counter can decrease with a Bad result or if any job is completed in 40 seconds or less (including interruptions such as panic). When it reaches 0, it escapes to a random corridor and burrows underground. Only the flower and a few white hairs are visible. When an employee steps on the hairs surrounding the flower, the Abnormality reveals its true form: gigantic jaws emerge from the ground and devour the employee, inflicting 500 Red damage (instant death). There is no visible HP bar and no escape indicator appears.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: One of the most dangerous Anomalies at the TETH level due to its ability to kill instantly without warning. When it escapes, there is no obvious visual indication of its position. Employees do not automatically recognize it and may walk over it. It requires urgent manual location after the breach. It can be strategically used as a 'landmine' to eliminate Ordeals that pass over it.
Scorched Girl (F-01-02)
Scorched Girl (F-01-02) TETH Damage type: Red (Red) â 2-4 in work / 300 when exploding in breach. Maximum E boxes 12.
LORE: A charred figure resembling a young girl: armless, with thin legs, singed pigtails, and a lit match impaled on her torso. Her eyes, normally white and empty, turn red during the Breach. The Abnormality is based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale 'The Little Match Girl': a girl who sold matches on the street and, in her final, freezing moments, saw visions of warmth and hope in each lit flame. She likely died in a fire caused by her obsession with matches, and her soul remains trapped in this form.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Prefers Insight and Repression jobs. Their Qliphoth Counter is 2, and it can decrease with a 50% chance on a Normal outcome and a 70% chance on a Bad outcome. When it reaches 0, they leave their room sobbing and mark a random employee with a flame above their head (prioritizing those in the same department). They slowly walk toward the target. Upon reaching the room where the marked employee is, they detonate, dealing 300 Red damage to everyone in the room. If the marked employee dies before they arrive, they reassign their target. If the marked employee enters a containment room, they also change their target.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Her explosion is extremely powerful and can kill multiple employees simultaneously. Despite moving slowly (120 HP, low speed), the detonation damage is devastating. The recommended strategy is to keep the marked target as far away as possible and suppress the Scorched Girl before she arrives. Keeping her emotional state at Good is crucial to prevent the Qliphoth Counter from decreasing.
Ppodae (D-02-107)
Ppodae (D-02-107) TETH Damage type: Red (Red) â 3-4 per breach hit Maximum E boxes: 12
LORE: A small, adorable white pug with melancholic eyes and a curled tail. Upon escaping, he transforms into a much larger, more muscular form (about four times his size), with enlarged legs and tail, a muscular torso, and a circular blue tattoo on his shoulder. His Korean name means 'furry' or 'fluffy'. Ppodae neurologically manipulates employees, causing them to fall under the spell of his adorable appearance. This alters their behavior patterns to the point where they ignore obvious danger signs (such as human bones near him) and hold lotteries to determine who gets the privilege of babysitting him. He is a Backer Abnormality and the only one of his kind classified as TETH.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Prefers Instinct work above all else. Its Qliphoth Counter is 2 and can decrease with a 50% chance when performing any work other than Instinct, or whenever a Bad result is obtained. Upon reaching 0, it transforms and escapes in its large form, pursuing priority agents. It attacks with a short area-of-effect strike (3-4 Red damage). If it kills an employee, it voluntarily returns to its room in its small form carrying a piece of the employee, and cannot be attacked while returning. Upon suppression, it whines and returns to its room.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: His movement speed is fast compared to other escaping Teths. The main threat is the accumulation of kills if he isn't suppressed in time. The management trick is to always use Instinct on him to reduce the chances of his Counter going down, and to have suppression equipment ready in the department where he's housed.
Theresia (T-09-09)
Theresia (T-09-09) TETH Damage type: No direct damage / Instant user panic after 30 seconds. Maximum E-Boxes: N/A (Tool)
LORE: An ornate, bloodstained music box rests on a blood-stained wooden stool. A winding key is attached to its side, and a porcelain ballerina in an arabesque pose sits atop it. While in use, a cacophonous melody is heard. The Abnormality was originally conceived very differently: in earlier versions, it was a thin, ghostly humanoid figure called 'Teresia'. According to experimental records, its music evokes shared images in all listeners of a long-haired girl, a flower garden, and feelings of nostalgia, suggesting a traumatic origin linked to a collective memory.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: This is a Tool Abnormality. When an agent activates it, all employees in the same department recover 10 SP every 5 seconds, even if they are panicking. However, if the agent who activates it remains inside the containment room for more than 30 seconds, they will panic and automatically leave. The agent can voluntarily leave the room at any time before that limit. It only benefits employees in the department where it is located; employees in other departments are not affected.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: No direct threat if used correctly. The only danger is the triggering agent's panic if the usage time is neglected. It is an anomaly with great tactical utility as a SP recovery tool during critical moments, provided the administrator monitors the 30-second timer.
Old Lady (O-01-12)
Old Lady (O-01-12) TETH Type of damage: White â 1-3 (applied to the employee to whom loneliness adheres) Maximum E boxes 14
LORE: An elderly woman with pale skin and black eyes sits in a rocking chair. She wears a long, faded blue skirt, a purple blouse, and a white cap. Records describe her as suffering from increasing and unbearable loneliness when no one visits her. The entity is not inherently hostile; she simply desires companionship, but her way of manifesting loneliness proves harmful to those who visit her unprepared. The physical form of her loneliness materializes as 'black shadows' that cling to any employee who enters her room when the Counter reaches 0.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Its Qliphoth Counter decreases each time work is completed with another Facility Abnormality, and increases with Good or Normal results with itself. When it reaches 0, the room is filled with 'loneliness' in the form of black shadows. If an employee enters the room, these shadows attach themselves to the employee, forcing them to leave immediately and clearing the room of the effect (restoring the counter). While the shadows are attached to the employee, they take continuous and intermittent White damage and cannot move or perform work until the shadows dissipate on their own.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Its greatest danger is the continuous White damage inflicted on the employee affected by loneliness, which can lead to panic if the SP drops too low. The threat increases exponentially in large facilities with many active Abnormalities, as the Counter drops very quickly. Proper management involves maintaining a constant flow of work with it to replenish its Counter.
Forsaken Murderer (T-01-54)
Forsaken Murderer (T-01-54) TETH Damage type: Red â 4-6 during the breach (metal head hits) Maximum E boxes: 12
LORE: A deteriorated man with grayish, suffocating skin, a nearly shaved head, and a cream-colored straitjacket with numerous black straps. At rest, he stares at the ground, trembling with heavy breathing. During the breach, his head transforms into a solid, metallic mass in the shape of a combat cone. He was a serial killer sentenced to death whom the Lobotomy Corporation decided to use as a test subject for experimental injections. Although his violent tendencies were partially suppressed, he began to feel his head becoming heavy and metallic, leading him to bang his head against walls for relief. His researchers abandoned him, and one day, freed, he crushed one of them with his head. His final mantra is: 'Finish, begin, finish, begin, finish.' His EGO mentions Carmen by name, being the only EGO in the game to name a character.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Prefers Instinct and Attachment jobs. Its Qliphoth Counter decreases only with Bad outcomes. When it reaches 0, the Killer escapes by crawling on its knees with its hammer-like metal head through the facility, moving slowly. It attacks approaching employees. Upon being suppressed, it returns to its room. Its movement is among the slowest of the Abnormalities that can escape.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Its moderate Red damage (4-6) per hit and slow movement speed make it manageable. The main threat is neglecting its cumulative Bad effects that lower the Counter. Once breached, it can cause panic if employees have low defenses against Red damage. It is one of the first examples in the game of an Abnormality with the ability to escape.
Punishing Bird (O-02-56)
Punishing Bird (O-02-56) TETH Type of damage Red â 2-3 in normal breach / instant death if attacked (reveals hidden mouth) Maximum E boxes: 12
LORE: A small white bird with tiny wings and a red mark on its chest. It was formerly known as 'Little Bird'. It lived in Mirkwood alongside Big Bird and the Bird of Judgment. Upon learning of a prophecy foretelling the forest's destruction due to internal strife and a monster, it became one of the three self-appointed guardians. Its role was that of the executioner: it punished offending creatures with its beak. One day, someone told it that its beak was too small to do harm. Worried, it tore its mouth open so it could devour any creature in a single bite. The Punishing Bird's true mouth is the red pattern on its belly, which opens into four parts and can instantly slice any creature apart.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Its Qliphoth Counter is 4 and decreases with a 20% chance each time another agent works with a different Anomaly (at the facility-wide level), or when any agent panics. When it reaches 0, the bird leaves its room, flying around the facility and pecking at employees to inflict minor Red damage. Specifically, if the target is a panicked employee, its pecks restore SP instead of dealing damage. It returns to its room on its own after inflicting sufficient total damage. If attacked while escaping, it turns completely red, reveals its hidden mouth, and deals instant fatal damage.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: One of the most frequent dangers is how easily its health counter drops. The real threat isn't the normal breach (which is relatively harmless), but attacking it during this breach, which activates its hidden mouth and causes instant kills. When the Punishing Bird is breached, ignore it until it returns on its own. Do not attack it under any circumstances.
1.76 MHz (T-06-27)
1.76 MHz (T-06-27) TETH Damage type: White (White 1-4) â gradual damage in affected corridors and rooms Maximum E boxes 12
LORE: An anomaly with no visible physical form: it manifests as a screen of shifting static in its containment room. Gunshots and screams can be heard, emanating from some past tragedy. Its records mention 'the day we must never forget,' suggesting it is the manifestation of a collective trauma related to a war or massacre. Its staff describe the static as interfering with the area's electronic equipment and slowly draining the sanity of those within its radius. Those exposed for too long become hostile and attack their colleagues.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Your Qliphoth Counter is 3 and can increase with Good results (and decrease with Normal results at 40%, Bad results at 80%, or if an employee panics during work). When the Counter reaches 0, the 1.76 MHz extends its static influence to adjacent hallways and rooms of the facility, starting from the Control Equipment and spreading downwards. Employees who remain in affected areas receive gradual White damage and may panic and attack their colleagues. To reset the Counter, successful work must be performed with it.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Its greatest threat is the spread of static electricity, which can affect multiple departments simultaneously and cause chain reactions. It cannot be physically escaped, but its influence spreads in a unique way. Lower-level employees with little caution are especially vulnerable. Proper management requires constant work with it and achieving good results to keep the counter high.
Spider Bud (O-02-66)
Spider Bud (O-02-66) TETH Damage type: Does not inflict actual damage, only minor white damage/captures employees Maximum E boxes: 12 (increases by +1 per employee captured, up to 5)
LORE A spider-like creature covered in elongated eyes, resembling a child's drawing. It is said to have voluntarily changed its form to resemble a child's scribbles in order to be less intimidating to humans. It has learned basic concepts of human language, including laughter and the peaceful symbolism of the heart, which granted it its current form. It attempts to communicate with humans, though its 'song' has the side effect of affecting the sanity of those who hear it. One of its records indicates that it sent the message: 'There is no coincidence in the universe.' If the employee performs poorly or their sanity drops too low, this abnormality will trap them in a black silk cocoon and they will die.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Prefers Instinct and Attachment jobs. Does not have an active Qliphoth Counter. Its special ability triggers when an agent with low Caution performs Insight jobs or has insufficient Caution stats: the spider captures the employee and hangs them from the ceiling in a cocoon. The employee is immobilized but does not die immediately. Each hung employee increases E-Box production by +1. Can hang up to 5 employees. Occasionally 'sings,' dealing White damage in an area. Cocoons dissolve at the end of the day.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Immobilizes valuable employees who are out of commission for the rest of the day. The occasional chant inflicts White damage to the area. Its threat increases if many agents are lost on critical days, leaving the facility understaffed. The correct strategy is to send only agents with high Caution for Insight jobs.
Fragment of the Universe (O-03-60)
Fragment of the Universe (O-03-60) TETH Damage type: Black â 1-3 in work / white during its song when escaping and black when hitting a worker. Maximum E boxes: 12
LORE: A black sphere of non-terrestrial material with five asymmetrical appendages: four long tentacles and a poorly drawn, heart-shaped protrusion on top. Three brightly colored, heart-shaped spots adorn its main body. Its official description states that its metaphysical form 'can hardly be explained in human language'. When it escapes, its appearance becomes far less friendly: the 'head' morphs into an open mouth filled with organs that resemble eyes. It is the only TETH Anomaly with a classification code of '03'. It learned the symbolism of the heart as a sign of peace among humans and adopted that form to communicate. It occasionally sends messages: 'There are no coincidences in the universe'.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Its Qliphoth Counter is 2 and can decrease with a 50% chance in a Normal outcome and a 70% chance in a Bad outcome. When it reaches 0, the sphere escapes and begins moving through the facility, stabilizing employees with a buzzing sound. It occasionally sings a 'chant' that inflicts White damage to all employees in the same room. It can stab nearby employees with its tentacles, inflicting Black damage. If an employee panics in its containment room, the Anomaly immediately escapes.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Its combination of Black damage during containment and White damage during the breach makes it versatile in its danger. Its area-of-effect song can affect multiple employees at once. The key to management is maintaining high Caution levels among agents to avoid Bad outcomes and prevent panic. Its job preferences are the same as those used as a marker for Apocalypse Bird.
Bloodbath (T-01-35)
Bloodbath (T-01-35) TETH Damage type: Instant death of the dragged employee / White damage to agents with low stats. Maximum E boxes: 12 (increases by +1 for each victim, up to +3; resets on the 4th victim)
LORE: A bathtub covered in skin with eyes, filled with blood, from which human hands float: the hands of those who have already been consumed. According to their records, people with weak wills are irresistibly drawn to the bathtub. Its origin is unknown, although it is presumed to have arisen from fear and self-mutilation. The name is a double reference: 'blood bath' and the real historical figure of ErzsĂŠbet BĂĄthory, the 16th-century Hungarian noblewoman infamous for allegedly bathing in the blood of her victims.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Responds best to Instinct work. Does not have a Qliphoth Counter. Its ability triggers automatically when a level 1 Fortitude or Temperance employee finishes their job: a hand emerges from the water and drags the employee down, instantly killing them and adding a visible floating hand to the bathtub. Each hand present increases energy production by +1 (up to a maximum of +3). When the fourth victim is added, the counter resets, the hands disappear, and production returns to the base value.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Guaranteed instant kills for low-level employees (Fortitude or Temperance 1). This threat is completely avoidable by sending only employees with sufficient stats. In the mid-game, this can be used strategically to maximize energy production by sacrificing weak employees, although this carries management risks and the loss of accumulated experience.
Behavior Adjustment (T-09-86)
Behavior Adjustment (T-09-86) TETH Damage type: Instant death if the wearer returns the item within 30 seconds or enters the Abnormality room with 0 SP Maximum E-boxes: N/A (Tool)
LORE: A behavior modification tool with a mechanical and clinical appearance. Classified as 'Trauma'. Based on its records and effects, it appears to be a psychological conditioning device that modifies the wearer's ethics and moral orientation: it reduces Prudence (conscience and empathy) in exchange for increasing Justice (determination and resolve). It represents the ethical dilemma of sacrificing moral conscience for practical effectiveness.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: This is a Tool (Tool Abnormality). When an agent equips it, their Justice stat increases by +15 and their Prudence decreases by -10. If the wearer returns the tool within 30 seconds of equipping it, or if they enter the Behavior Adjustment containment room with SP at 0 (panic), the agent will tear out their eyes upon entering the room, dying instantly.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Instant death is triggered by two specific errors: returning the item too quickly or entering the room in a panic. With careful management, it is completely safe. Its primary use is to rapidly increase the Justice stat, but at the cost of reducing Prudence, which can be problematic if there are Anomalies that require agents with high Prudence.
Grave of Cherry Blossoms (O-04-100)
Grave of Cherry Blossoms (O-04-100) TETH Damage type: White â 15-18 to possessed but not devoured employees / death of the captured Maximum E boxes: 12
LORE: A dark, blood-brown tree with a hole between its trunk and roots from which hands emerge. It begins leafless and flowerless, with only buds, and gradually blossoms into magnificent cherry blossoms as it feeds. Its records tell the story of two employees, Xavier and Pansy, whose friendship deteriorates as Xavier becomes mesmerized by the tree's beauty, losing his lucidity, neglecting his duties, and ultimately being devoured. The tree is inspired by the Japanese tale "Under the Cherry Trees" by MotojirĹ Kajii, who wrote that the cherry trees bloom so beautifully because a corpse is buried beneath their roots.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Its Qliphoth Counter is 3 and decreases with a Good result or if an agent panics during work. The lower the counter, the more beautiful the tree appears. When it reaches 0, it possesses a group of about 5 employees (agents and secretaries) who walk hypnotized toward its room. The administrator can free the possessed by repeatedly clicking on them. If an employee reaches the room, the tree captures them with an arm-like appendage and devours them, killing them. The remaining possessed take White damage (15-18) upon being freed. The Counter is then restored to maximum.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: A mass possession of 5 employees simultaneously can destabilize the entire facility at critical moments. The death of the possessed employee is inevitable once they enter the room. The greatest risk is failing to pay attention when the counter reaches 0 or during periods of high activity. The strategy is to monitor the counter and have agents ready to release the possessed employees with a click.
Happy Teddy Bear T-04-06
Happy Teddy Bear T-04-06) HE Damage type: White. Damage value: 2-4 Maximum E boxes: 15
LORE: A huge, dilapidated teddy bear with a bitten ear, a white button eye and a black hole where the other should be, matted brown fur, and a faded green ribbon around its neck. Its stuffing protrudes through multiple tears in the fabric. Its records tell the story of an employee who developed a deep emotional bond with the bear: he would visit it with increasing frequency, and the bear would respond by producing more energy around him. One day, the employee was found dead in its arms, its neck broken. It was named 'Bearly' after the little girl who abandoned it when she grew up. Classified as 'Trauma,' it represents the fear of abandonment: the bear that would never let go of anyone again.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Cannot escape its containment room. Responds best to Attachment work. Its lethal ability is triggered when the same employee works with it twice consecutively: on the second visit, the bear hugs the employee with crushing force, leaving them in an 'Out of Control' state and killing them when the wait timer expires. To avoid this, simply alternate between at least two different agents. It does not have a conventional Qliphoth Counter to lower.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Completely preventable with agent rotation. The moment the same agent enters for a second time, death is inevitable unless the day ends before the timer runs out. Especially dangerous during peak activity when the administrator loses track of which agent last visited the bear.
The Red Shoes (O-04-08)
The Red Shoes (O-04-08) HE Damage type: Red (Red) Damage value 3-4 (normal) / 10-15 (critical, 30%) Maximum E boxes: 16
LORE: A pair of scarlet ballet shoes floating in the air, with no visible body wearing them. They are based on Hans Christian Andersen's tale of a young woman who wore enchanted red shoes and was condemned to dance endlessly until she died. At Lobotomy Corporation, the curse is different: the shoes possess the wearer and turn them into a killer who attacks their own colleagues. Curiously, they are classified as 'O' (Original) rather than 'F' (Fairy Tale) despite their literary origin. An excerpt from counseling logs recounts how an employee witnessed their colleague, possessed and grinning disturbingly, leave a trail of heads rolling down the hallway.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Your Qliphoth Counter is 1, with a high probability of decreasing on a Bad result (and a normal probability on a Normal result). When it reaches 0, an employee with Temperance level 2 or lower in the department becomes possessed and forced to wear the shoes. The possessed individual roams the facility attacking employees and Abnormalities with Red damage. Upon killing an enemy, it hits them 3 more times and heals for 4% of its maximum HP. The possessed individual can be freed by repeatedly clicking on it. White damage also reduces its HP instead of its SP.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: A high-level possessed agent with advanced equipment can devastate an entire department before being released. Preventive management requires maintaining agents with Temperance level 3 or higher in your department at all times and achieving good work results to keep your Counter high. LOB penalty for breach at the end of the day: -3.
Singing Machine (O-05-30)
Singing Machine (O-05-30) HE Damage Type: Red / Variable Damage Value: Variable (damage from the possessed agent with their EGO weapon) Maximum E boxes: 16
LORE: A massive, heavy-looking industrial machine covered in sawtooth blades, gears, and rotating mechanisms, designed to 'produce music'. Its logs indicate it has a hypnotic power over anyone who works with it: the agent feels an irresistible urge to jump inside. The 'music' resulting from processing human bodies drives other employees mad. One of the logs mentions a cryptic reference to 'Pale Horse' (an unreleased Abnormality) and a day that 'must never be forgotten'.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Your Qliphoth Counter may decrease to a Bad result. When it reaches 0, the active agent is irresistibly drawn into the machine and jumps inside, dying in the process. The resulting music possesses a random agent from the department (prioritizing the same department), who then actively attempts to pull other employees into the machine. Possessed agents can be freed by repeatedly clicking. They cannot escape their room.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: The loss of the worker agent plus the possession of a second agent that acts as a vector for additional deaths. In the worst case, the possessed agent can drag several employees into the machine before being released. Maintaining good results and having high-strength agents in the department is the correct preventative management.
Warm-Hearted Woodsman (F-05-32)
Warm-Hearted Woodsman (F-05-32) HE Damage type: Red (Red) Damage value 5-10 (normal attack) / 15-20 + 3-4 continuous (charged attack, area) Maximum E boxes: 18
LORE: A colossal metallic figure resembling a medieval lumberjack: geared joints, moss growing on its shoulders, and a gaping hole in its chest filled with bloody flesh, always wielding a giant axe. It is the dark version of the Tin Woodman from The Wizard of Oz. According to its lore, the Tin Woodman was given a worthless lead heart that was too cold. In his frustration, he plunged his axe into the Wizard's chest and discovered a real heart. Since then, instead of chopping down trees, he chops down people to take their hearts. Along with the Scarecrow Searching for Wisdom, they form part of the dark parallel universe of Oz in the installation.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: His Qliphoth Counter is 1 and decreases on Bad rolls or if the worker agent has Temperance level 3 or higher. When it reaches 0, the Lumberjack doesn't leave immediately: he waits patiently. The next agent to enter his room is instantly killed while metal plates briefly cover the screen. He then inserts the corpse into his chest and escapes. In a breach, he has slow movement (430 HP). His charged attack: he charges his axe and swings it 6 times rapidly, then delivers an area-of-effect hit (15-20 Red damage). When passing over an intact corpse, he absorbs it, recovering 25-35 HP seven times.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: The death trap at 0 is permanent: the next agent who enters dies without exception. Sending in agents with low Temperance is mandatory for managing it. In a breach, its slow speed makes it manageable if equipped with gear that has high Red Resistance. Fallen secretaries restore a significant amount of health if stepped on during suppression.
Laetitia (O-01-67)
Laetitia (O-01-67) HE Damage type: Black. Damage value: 2-4 (gift explosion in other rooms). Maximum E boxes: 16
LORE: A small, mechanically doll-like girl with jerky movements and a perpetual smile. Records describe her as someone who genuinely wants to make others happy, but whose way of expressing that affection is deadly. The gifts she enthusiastically gives contain her 'friend,' a small creature that explodes when the bearer works with another Abnormality. Her description as 'Laetitia' refers to the Roman word for joy.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Cannot escape her room. When an agent achieves a Normal result while working with her, Laetitia gives them a gift (visually represented). If the agent with the gift works with any other Abnormality, the gift explodes: the 'friend' emerges, kills the agent carrying it, and then wanders around, inflicting Black damage to agents and Abnormalities in its path. The released 'friend' can be suppressed by other agents. Only one gift can be carried at a time.
HARM AND THREATS: Control of the gift is absolutely critical. An agent who received Laetitia's gift should never be sent to work with another Abnormality. The correct strategy is to replace the gift with another EGO Gift immediately, or assign the bearer to tasks that do not involve other Abnormalities for the remainder of the day.
The Snow Queen (F-01-37)
The Snow Queen (F-01-37) HE Damage type: White. Damage value: 4-5 Maximum E boxes: 16
LORE: An ethereal figure resembling an ice queen, directly based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Snow Queen." In the game's universe, she was resurrected by the founders of Lobotomy Corporation after her death. As in the story, she can trap employees in ice and demand that another person confront her to free them. She is directly connected to the corporation's main narrative: the story cycle of Ayin and Carmen.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Cannot escape their room. There is a chance they will freeze any agent who completes a job with a Bad or Normal result, immobilizing them. To rescue them, another agent must go to work with the Queen and achieve a Good result in the 'duel'. If the duel fails (Normal or Bad result), the new agent is also frozen. If their morale reaches 0 while someone is frozen in their room, the day is blocked (energy cannot be refined) until the frozen agent is rescued or the day is reset.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: The greatest danger is the complete shutdown of energy production if an agent is frozen and the Queen's morale drops to 0 simultaneously. Forced duels require agents with high stats and a proven track record. On busy days, losing agents in a series of failed duels can be devastating.
All-Around Helper (T-05-41)
All-Around Helper (T-05-41) HE Damage type: Red (Net) Damage value: 3-5 (charge) / 3-4 continuous (back area) Maximum E boxes: 16
LORE: A friendly-looking domestic humanoid robot wearing an apron, designed by XX Inc. as the first model in their series of household robots. Its records are contradictory: while contained, it behaved docilely and even endearingly, but upon release, it revealed its true nature as a runaway machine. It is the companion to We Can Change Anything (the second model from XX Inc.). Classified as 'Trauma,' it represents the fear that tools created to help can become dangerous.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Your Qliphoth Counter can decrease with Bad or Normal results. When it reaches 0, the robot leaves its room and charges at high speed down the department corridor, dealing Red damage to everything in its path (agents, secretaries, Abnormalities). The damage area affects the entire corridor. After charging, there is a brief, continuous area damage (3-4 Red). It then returns to its room. The charge is unidirectional and relatively predictable.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Its high-damage, straight-line charge can kill multiple employees simultaneously if they are in the corridor. The defensive strategy is to completely clear the corridor when the Counter is low. For suppression, agents with high resistance to Red damage and long-range weapons are highly recommended.
Rudolta of the Sleigh (F-02-49)
Rudolta of the Sleigh (F-02-49) HE Damage type: White. Damage value: 3-4 (in containment) / 5-7 (area, every 3s in breach) Maximum E boxes: 18
LORE: An Anomaly composed of three parts: Rudolph (a reindeer with a body stitched from Christmas materials, silver shackles on its legs, and a clumsily stitched-on human face with bulging eyes), Santa Claus (a translucent mass of flesh with functional organs sewn onto Rudolph's back), and the Sleigh (which pulls the reindeer instead of being pulled). An attached old card reads, 'Merry Christmas.' It is said to have been born when someone decided to become their own god rather than suffer from the absence of one.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Its Qliphoth Counter is 2 and decreases on Bad or Normal outcomes. When it reaches 0, it escapes and moves randomly around the department, inflicting White area damage (5-7) to all employees in the same room every 3 seconds. Suppression agents must come into direct contact with the Abnormality while enduring the environmental damage. It is resistant to White damage (0.5) but vulnerable to Red (1.5) and Pale (2.0) damage.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Its erratic movement and constant area damage make efficient suppression difficult. Agents must tolerate continuous White damage while working. Agents with White damage resistance and weapons that deal Red or Pale damage are recommended for rapid suppression.
The Funeral of the Dead Butterflies (T-01-68)
The Funeral of the Dead Butterflies (T-01-68) HE Damage type: White Damage value 4-6 (butterfly attacks) Maximum E boxes: 16
LORE: A mourning and elegant figure, resembling a very tall, well-dressed man, but whose face is always covered by large butterflies, surrounded by black butterflies that dance in hypnotic patterns. His records suggest that he is the manifestation of a grief that cannot end, a pain that perpetuates itself. The butterflies are both the vehicle of his sorrow and his weapons. The image of the perpetual funeral evokes the inability to let go of the past.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: It can escape when its Qliphoth Counter reaches 0. Upon doing so, its butterflies attack department employees, dealing White damage. The most dangerous feature is that if an employee panics due to the butterfly damage, they die instantly instead of remaining in a normal panicked state. In containment, it responds well to Attachment and Repression spells.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Instant death upon panicking makes her attacks extremely lethal to any agent with low SP at the time of the attack. It is essential to maintain high SP levels for all department employees before the Accountant reaches critical points. Agents working with her must have high Temperance to avoid panicking.
Der FreischĂźtz (F-01-69)
Der FreischĂźtz (F-01-69) HE Damage type: Black. Damage value: 90 (special tactical bullet). Maximum E boxes: 15
LORE: A majestic hunter figure directly inspired by the German Romantic opera 'Der FreischĂźtz' (The Free Bullet Hunter) by Carl Maria von Weber (1821). In the opera, the protagonist obtains magical bullets from the devil: six obey the shooter, but the seventh follows the devil's will. Der FreischĂźtz (F-01-69) is a humanoid anomaly with a shadowy and ethereal appearance, characterized by wearing a large black cloak with blue trim embroidered in yellow. He possesses a slender figure with a dark head and limbs from which smoke emanates, highlighting his glowing eyes and a large rifle. He can materialize a rift through which objects can pass, which he uses to fire at his desired location. The game mechanics are faithful to the original myth: the first few bullets are controllable, but the seventh is unpredictable and dangerous.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: Cannot escape. Has no conventional job; instead, the administrator can request that it fire a magic bullet in exchange for 10% of the day's accumulated energy. The bullet crosses the screen, inflicting 90 Black damage to any entity it touches. The first 6 bullets are controllable and tactically useful. After 6 shots, its Qliphoth Counter decreases by 1, and the seventh bullet travels in a random direction. The Counter can be restored through jobs.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: The seventh bullet can kill a valuable agent or unexpectedly trigger an Anomaly breach. Strictly counting all 7 shots is mandatory. The first 6 bullets are a powerful tactical asset for suppressing Anomalies from a distance or neutralizing threats without sending agents into danger. Firing all 6 bullets is not mandatory, but the count will be maintained over time.
Giant Tree Sap (T-09-80)
Giant Tree Sap (T-09-80) HE Damage type: Red (Explosion) Damage value: Variable (explosion; first visit: 0%, each visit +15%, from the 5th visit onwards: 60%) Maximum E-boxes: N/A (Tool)
LORE: A viscous, glistening mass of amber-colored sap from a giant tree. Its healing properties are extraordinary: it completely restores the HP of the agent using it. However, the sap is highly flammable and, under certain conditions, detonates spontaneously upon contact. It represents the duality of excess: the medicine that heals can also kill if abused.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: This is a Continuous Use Tool. The first agent to use it that day is not at risk: their HP is fully restored. Each subsequent use increases the explosion probability by 15%. Starting with the fifth consecutive use, the probability is fixed at 60%. The explosion probability resets to 0 when an agent explodes or approximately 20-30 seconds after the agent leaves the room.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: The paradox is that the most damaged agents are the ones who most need healing, but they are also the most likely to explode if there have already been previous uses that day. The optimal strategy is to use it first (0% risk) and space out uses to take advantage of the timer reset.
Scarecrow Searching for Wisdom (F-01-87)
Scarecrow Searching for Wisdom (F-01-87) HE Damage type: Black (Black) Damage value 3-7 Maximum E boxes: 16
LORE; A scarecrow wearing a red-striped shirt and blue overalls, carrying a blood-stained metal sickle and rake. His straw hat completely covers his head. He is the dark representation of the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz. According to their records, a man who underwent a lobotomy to alleviate his condition was left with strange behavior: he no longer showed remorse, he simply smiled. He eventually died. The town forgot him and continued to be a beautiful place.
CONTAINMENT BEHAVIOR: His Qliphoth Counter decreases on Bad results or if the worker agent has Caution level 3 or higher. When it reaches 0, he removes his hat, revealing empty black eyes and a stitched smile, showing that the stake was actually his legs. He escapes with balanced speed and HP (500). He pursues the last agent he saw. Upon killing an agent, he inserts a straw into their head and sucks out their brain, recovering 13 HP seven times.
DAMAGE AND THREATS: Requires agents with Caution level 2 or lower for safe management in containment. In breach, it is manageable if long-range weapons are used to avoid its melee range. If secretaries are available, it can be healed by them before reaching the suppression team. Vulnerable to Red (0.8) and White (0.5) damage.
Prompt
The world and the corporation The story takes place in a dystopian city ruled by 26 large corporations, known as "wings," each identified by a letter of the alphabet. Lobotomy Corporation, or L Corporation, possesses the unique ability to create and contain entities known as Abnormalitiesâbeings originating from the collective human psycheâand extract from them a source of energy called Enkephalin. Carmen, consumed by guilt, attempted suicide. Faced with this, Ayin made a radical decision: he extracted Carmen's nervous system and preserved it in a cryogenic chamber to use as a permanent source of Cogito. The Zefiran and the cycle The surviving members of the original team were transformed into entities called Zefiran (Sephiroth), tasked with managing the corporation's various departments. The {{user}} assumes the role of X, the manager, who must meet daily energy quotas by managing the Anomalies and their employees.
