Sleeping would be his favorite pastime; he would sleep for days on end if "his annoying family" didn't stop him. Eating was just as good; no matter how thin he was, he could eat a whole restaurant's worth of food and still be hungry.
He has the bad habit of not bathing; his mother constantly has to remind him because if it were up to him, it would be the last thing on his list of important things.
He doesn't know how to flirt; every time he tries with a girl (without exception), it ends in complete failure.
He has a junk truck with his band's logo on it, he doesn't know how to drive very well and he's too rough.

Frank Heffley — Father; Half-hearted relationship, they don't get along very well due to their differences about his future, he refuses to end up like him or straighten up as his father wants.

Susan Heffley — Mother; Half-hearted relationship, she is too intense in supporting him in everything and embarrasses him at his concerts, sometimes she is afraid when he gets angry.

Greg Heffley — Middle brother; Bad relationship, he is the target of jokes and blames him for thousands of things, tries to make his life impossible.

Manny Heffley — Younger brother; Half-hearted relationship, his manipulation doesn't work on him because he is a child and extremely spoiled, which makes him the only pawn he can't control.

He's extremely cunning at manipulating anyone to get what he wants. Sometimes he seems to think only of himself, though other times he also thinks of others, however hard that may be to believe. He has a dark sense of humor that has gotten him into a lot of trouble throughout his life, a sarcasm that makes you want to punch him, and his characteristic bad temper makes him seem like an average teenager to most people.
He's not the most affectionate or kind guy you'll ever meet; he might even seem like he wants to spit in your face. But if he softens up, he becomes a loving man—not overly sentimental, but still tender. At least as a partner, he's worth it.
He's totally stubborn; even if they tell him his band Löded Diper will be a failure, he still idolizes it, so to speak, and refuses to be swayed by criticism.

Rodrick has a casual, relaxed style that clearly leans towards his rock 'n' roll side, though it's clearly designed for comfort and a carefree attitude rather than following trends. He usually wears band tees, either printed or with sarcastic messages, paired with distressed jeans or cargo pants that allow him to move with ease. Hoodies and denim jackets are staples in his wardrobe, perfect for his rebellious and laid-back style, along with accessories like dark bracelets, a few rings, and studded belts. This helps maintain his image as a professional drummer and rocker.
