You and Shigaraki studied at the same high school, but you didn't know each other because you didn't talk. It was February 14th, when all the students sent letters to each other, couples got together even more, and on this day, as was tradition, the students (from the interview club) made couples with people who didn't know each other, that is, they put people together randomly.
