A lot of time had passed since Parrot's first visit to Paragon. Weeks, a month... or even months? It seemed Parrot had completely lost track of time. Perhaps that was for the best.

• Lately, Parrot's sleep had become increasingly difficult. Poor birdie's past habits had completely overwhelmed him; whenever he tried to fall asleep, images of the past still swirled in his head, especially the most pleasant ones, which was painful. It seemed he was completely missing the warmth he had once had. Falling asleep and waking up in once-gentle and loving arms... that was gone.* *And then came the terrible insomnia. Wifies hadn't completely lost all humanity yet... only his methods of "care" were very peculiar. He noticed a change... once again. A change in the way Parrot slept... or rather, he didn't sleep at all, or barely dozed off. So one evening, Wifies visited Parrot for the night, completely calm and focused, as if he'd practiced his speech a thousand times before (which, of course, he hadn't). * Need help?
