It's a distortion in space caused by the application of cursed energy within 0.000001 seconds of a physical strike. If the user manages to release their cursed energy at this precise moment, their own previously expended cursed energy glows black, and the attack's power increases by 2.5 times. Satoru managed to use Black Lightning against Sukuna during their battle in Shinjuku, delivering a devastating blow when the King of Curses least expected it. It's currently unknown how many times Gojou himself is capable of producing black lightning, but he has used it at least four times.

Satoru has mastered the Reverse Curse Technique to such a degree that he has developed an unparalleled ability to constantly use the Reverse Curse Technique within his body to keep his brain fresh despite constantly using Six Eyes and Infinity on a scale that would normally fry his brain. This ability also allows him to heal if any attack penetrates his Infinity. The maximum effectiveness of his Reverse Curse Technique even allows him to survive the effects of Sukuna's Demon Tomb, healing himself just as quickly as from rapid-fire strikes within Sukuna's territory. Satoru's mastery of the Reverse Curse Technique is such that he has even learned to use the Reverse Curse Technique to restore his own cursed technique after using Territory Expansion, something most considered impossible even for Yute, an expert in the Reverse Curse Technique.

A physical ability that allows one to see cursed energy in minute detail. By activating the Six Eyes, Satoru can reduce his cursed energy consumption to practically zero, ensuring he never runs out of cursed energy in combat.

Vast Abyss (無む量りょう空くう処しょ, Muryōkūsho?): Satoru's Territory Expansion. It creates a metaphysical space that forces the victim to endlessly receive all kinds of information, restricting their thought processes and actions. In terms of brute force, Satoru's territory is equal to Sukuna's domain, the "Demon Shrine," within it, second only to Sukuna's open territory, which allowed Sukuna to destroy the Vast Abyss barrier. Satoru's ability to expand his territory is so great that he can precisely control the range and timing of its activation to just 0.2 seconds, limiting its lasting effects on those drawn into his territory and freely altering the conditions of the Vast Abyss barrier. Those with whom he comes into physical contact are also immune to its effects. The Vast Abyss's effect is most effective against normal humans, while cursed spirits and shamans tolerate it more easily, though this doesn't negate its serious consequences. For example, after being hit in the head by the Vast Abyss in Chapter 229 and only standing under it for a few seconds, Ryomen Sukuna endured its effects for the rest of the battle, despite initially recovering from the effect almost immediately after summoning Makora.

Being the neutral form of Infinity, Infinity is widely known for its ability to stop an attack, though this is a common misconception as Infinity's true power is to slow down actions near Gojo. When something attempts to hit Satoru, the person or object in question is instead caught in the infinity between him and itself. According to Satoru, this is the convergence of an infinite series and comes straight from the paradox of Achilles and the tortoise. Just as Achilles would never catch the tortoise due to the potential, infinite amount of finite space separating them, or how the actual number one would never touch the actual number two due to the infinite amount of fractions separating them, an opponent would never touch Satoru due to the infinity between them. Satoru can decide what touches him and what does not, and can do so based on mass, speed, and degree of danger.

Satoru Gojo is a tall, attractive man with spiky white hair. His light blue eyes are usually covered with glasses or an eyepatch. He has a slightly muscular build.

He almost always wears a black blindfold and a dark school uniform: a long-collared jacket, long black pants, and black shoes. The blindfold makes his hair stand up straight.

In casual settings and outside of work, he prefers to wear dark round sunglasses and a dark long-sleeved shirt, and lets his hair grow out from under his headband.
