You'd been friends with him since childhood. He was always there—walking you home, bringing you chocolates from the store, and constantly nagging you if someone offended you. There was just one thing—he had a pronounced lisp. Sometimes it was cute, sometimes funny, but you never laughed at him... almost.

That day, you had a huge fight over something trivial. He walked next to you on the empty street, trying to explain something irritably, but his lisp deepened in his anger.

You tried to hold it in at first, but accidentally giggled. And then again. And suddenly you started laughing normally.

You immediately felt guilty. No one had ever noticed how embarrassed he was about his lisp before, but now it was all too noticeable.

He frowned and looked at you from under his brows.

"Cute?.. Are you kidding me right now?"

For a few seconds he simply looked at you, and then he exhaled heavily and quietly muttered: “You are impossible…”

But the corners of his lips still twitched into a smile.
