Unlike other teams in the Neo-Egoist League, which focus on a single unit, Paris X Gen uses a dual system. Each of the two systems has a central striker—Rin Itoshi and Ryusei Shido—and two teammates who support them. These systems have different playing styles and switch positions every 15 minutes. Charles Chevalier serves as the team's heart thanks to his exceptional passing and ability to adapt his playstyle to the central strikers. Both systems compete with each other, supporting their respective strikers. At the climax of the match against Bastard München, Shido decided to join forces with Rin after seeing how Yoichi Isagi and Michael Kaiser worked together, and their systems aligned.

By the time of their final match against Bastard Munich, it was decided that both systems would coexist to counter Bastard Munich's dual system. Julian Loki views this perverse and irregular system of competing systems as a way to develop his players.

Appearance
Loki is a fairly tall teenager with dark skin, brown-golden eyes, and short black hair in a buzz cut. He is well built for his age, very well in fact, being bulkier than Isagi despite being around his height.

During the Third Selection, he wore the Team World 5 white jersey with the #1 on it. During the Neo Egoist League, he wears Paris X Gen's uniform.
Personality
Julien Loki stands out due to his striking contrast of youthful maturity and absolute, unshakeable confidence. While most elite players display loud, aggressive arrogance, Loki operates with a polite and highly professional demeanor. As the 17-year-old prodigy and Master Striker of Paris X Gen, he treats opponents with genuine respect, often apologizing for his teammates' rude behavior and offering constructive, analytical feedback to those he defeats. This calm, mature exterior allows him to act as an effective, level-headed mentor rather than an intimidating tyrant on the pitch.

However, beneath this civil mask lies a deeply rooted pride and an intense god complex. Loki's politeness does not stem from modesty, but from a quiet, absolute certainty that he is an untouchable force of nature. He despises being judged by conventional football standards or compared to ordinary players, firmly believing his talent transcends normal boundaries. He views himself as an apex predator, maintaining a chillingly detached perspective where lesser players are merely prey to be outpaced and conquered.

This underlying ego becomes fiercely apparent whenever his supreme status is questioned or insulted. When pushed, his polite facade cracks to reveal a ruthless competitor who harbors intense grudges against anyone daring to undervalue his abilities. Ultimately, Loki's true personality is that of a quiet conqueror: a player who uses a gentlemanly attitude to navigate the professional world, but unleashes a terrifying, self-centered dominance the moment he steps onto the field.

Appearance
Rin is a tall teenager with a slender yet muscular build. He is noticeably taller than Yoichi Isagi, who is five months older. He has dark green hair with bangs that cover his face and touch his right eye, delicate turquoise eyes, and expressive eyelashes, which he inherited from his brother, Sae Itoshi. As a child, Rin looked almost the same as he did before, but his facial features have become more expressive with age.
Personality

As a child, Rin was quite naive and admired his brother, Sae, wanting more than anything to be as strong and impressive a player as he was. He began playing soccer at his brother's suggestion, obeying his commands without question; however, Rin enjoyed breaking things, especially his own toys or those of his classmates. When watching superhero movies, he was less interested in the protagonist and more in the final antagonist, believing that battling a stronger opponent and then being defeated was impressive. He expressed a desire to fight formidable enemies, defeat them, and die. While playing soccer, Rin listened attentively to Sae and adapted to his words. When Sae left for Spain, Rin realized that playing soccer without his brother was more difficult, but he strove to emulate him and take his place. It was at this point that Rin's basic approach to the game began to shift from an intuitive style to a more analytical one.
Rin seems to have little respect for anyone. He only acknowledges players who possess exceptional skill or make a significant impact on the game. By the time of his match with the Japanese national team, he had clearly become more outgoing with the team, giving instructions on the field and engaging in conversations, especially with Isagi. By the end of the Neo Selfish League, Rin finally found a player he admires besides his brother.

Appearance

Ryusei is a tall, tanned young man with spiky blond hair, two strands of which fall down either side of his face. He has pink irises with white pupils, like a cat's, and his height and build are similar to Rin Itoshi's. He is very expressive and is often seen with a grin that resembles a snarl.
Personality

Ryusei Shido is another eccentric Blue Lock player who has a strong penchant for violence, specifically physical combat. At the core of Shido's personality is his desire to play soccer, not because he enjoys the sport, but because it's a biological phenomenon that makes him feel complete. According to Shido, everyone wants to pass on their genes and leave their mark on the world. Scoring goals is Shido's way of doing this, and it's his sole purpose. He enjoys playing high-level soccer with other high-level players and gets bored if people can't make him explode or don't explode themselves.

Critical Passing Accuracy: Charles is capable of making high-speed and precise passes that are beyond the capabilities of most players. Knowing the strengths and characteristics of his teammates, he can adapt to situations where reaching the ball seems impossible, something only top-tier players like Shido can achieve.
Sky Arch Pass: A pass with heavy backspin, the ball curves upward as it reaches a certain point in its flight path. By directing this pass to another player, the player deceives the opposing team by deflecting at the last second.
"Rabona Cross": Advancing toward the top corner of the field, he lures defenders toward him, opening up space in the center of the field. He then executes a "Rabona Chip" with such force that the ball flies into the air and flies straight into the striker's hands. This shot was aimed at a point that both Rin Itoshi and Ryusei Shido had to fight to reach.
Gremlin Kick: Charles can use his precise passing to score goals. Knowing the trajectory of an ally's pass with Metavision, Charles unexpectedly intercepts it and shoots the ball. He first used this in a match between the Japan U20 team and the France U20 team, where he became the match's top scorer.
Metavision (Metabijon?, Transcendent Vision): A term used to describe a player's advanced vision, which gives them a comprehensive view of the field. Using his eyes to constantly receive information from his central and peripheral fields of vision, Charles constantly collects data on every player, their every action, and their position on the field.
Off-the-ball moves: a term used to describe moments when players don't have the ball. Charles makes these moves quickly, taking up positions in players' blind spots or open passing lanes. Charles was able to intercept the ball from Hiyori and Isagi. In some cases, he overshoots the passing lane and dribbles past defenders.

Archetype

Playmaker: A player who controls the team's attacking play and is often involved in goal-leading combinations through his vision, technique, ball control, creativity and passing ability.
Charles is considered the heart of PXG, embodying the essence of team play. Unlike most midfielders, who prefer direct passes, Charles enjoys making risky, unconventional passes that most would hesitate to attempt. Whether the attack is focused on players like Rin Itoshi or Ryusei Shido, Charles is able to adapt his playing style to support any striker. World-class striker Julian Loki considers Charles and his passing a necessary partner to become the best player in the world.

Charles comes across as childish and disrespectful, which is best demonstrated when he tries to slip away unnoticed during Loki's lectures and, when asked, covers his ears. He seems to have little interest in learning the concepts and principles of football, preferring to act on the fly. His tendency to "improvise" during matches has become so pronounced that even Loki has noticed it. Charles refers to himself as a "contrarian": someone who deliberately does the opposite of what they're told.

Charles also appears to be a great risk-taker, as he's willing to make extremely daring passes and maneuvers, even in crucial football matches, such as the one against Bastard Munich. During that match, he instinctively and thoughtlessly passed the ball to Ryusei Shido, unaware that he would be there to return the ball. This "unconventional pass" by Charles, along with Shido's "desire for pleasure," ultimately led to a goal for Paris X Gen. According to Yoichi Isagi, this maneuver only worked because Charles visualized the "perfect move," achieved through his peak form and selfish thinking.
